Force open Equipment screen

Unless there is something that I am missing, there is no default way to open the Equipment Screen with an event command.

In a cut scene I need to be able to open the equipment screen for actor 2.
Can anyone help me to do this?

$game_party.menu_actor = $game_actors[ID]
SceneManager.call(Scene_Equip)

Just change the ID to the actor you want to open the scene for.
