Forum Games Section ?

As I frequented more forums,I saw that they have forum games section.Where the posts are not counted.Why not we add it too ?

Well the reason I linked the rules is they make it pretty clear we don't want forum games. A dedicated section doesn't change that.

Because we don't want them. It was a staff decision and that's all it really comes down to. Our several other forums help the members interact with each other.

Different communities are going to have different goals and philosophies. That being said, a 'Forum Games' section isn't necessarily going to add much real value to a community, especially if the focus is on something else (like RPG Maker). For an RPG Maker forum, RPG Maker related content, and the off-topic general discussion related topic is plenty for users to interact with each other. In fact, I'd go as far to say that a forum that consists of spam-like games (we've seen how they've been in older RM forums) would actually detract from the core focus of the community. That's my two cents.


There are plenty of forums that are focused strongly on the community themselves, rather than any certain goals or products, and a forum games section might make more sense there.
