I agree with the need of source mode. It is a simple button, and it would avoid many troubles with formatting.

I kinda notice the friend feature was removed or something.

You can follow people now instead of friending them.

One thing I miss is being able to preview the threads in the index - the little arrow that would let you see the post after the last one you'd read as well as the last post of the topic. Not a huge thing, but if that could be brought back, that would be awesome.

You can turn them off. In your settings, under signature, there is a toggle button that says "Show other people's signatures alongside their content "

I just tried it, it works.
Ah.  Well, I suggest that it is off by default then.

I also suggest removing the subtitle, redundant Moderator/etc tag, the number of posts, location, and primarily uses from the Avatar section.  For the same reasons as before (reducing clutter and extraneous information)

E:

also, is the forum broken in Firefox?  I can't post or quote in Firefox (but I can in IE11 and Opera.  Haven't tried Chrome yet)

Well, to be honest, I highly doubt that will happen as most people like seeing signatures and all the other "redundant" information.

And I've been using it solely in Firefox without any of those issues.

I disagree on this point. These options always appear by default on forums. Having a setting to turn them off, why not. At this rate, you will ask to remove everything, including posts. It isn't cluttered that much.

Not always, and most places have been moving away from them or never had them - Twitter, Imgur, Reddit, Disqus, Facebook, Tumblr, etc...

You just need to know who made the post, the content of the post, and the time it was made, really.

E:

on a place like RMW, having an avatar helps quickly identifying who made the post, and having the user's role is useful so that admins and mods are quickly identifiable, and having that +score is a fun gamification the forums, which helps contribute to the community.

Yes, but all of those are not discussion forums. On a forum, you always expect to see the profile of the poster, his/her signature, and so on. It is fundamentally different.

I don't expect that, and it is fundamentally the same - a community of logged in users posting chronologically in a given topic.

It seems we disagree. Let's wait for opinions from other users then. To see what the majority prefers.

On the plus side, I can suddenly post and quote in Firefox.  Not sure what that was about.  Must have been on my end, or some weird one-off bug happened.

Sometimes when writing a new post, the editor starts bugging out.

Most notably in what happens when you hit enter when it is bugging out (it applies the return to the line before the line the cursor is located.

I tend to notice it happen when I try enter a user with the @ symbol.  Like @Sharm

It does not happen all the time, but the only way I found to fix it is a reload of the page.

Maybe they should remove the posting ability, subforums, status updates and leave this forum blank? That would solve everything. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Question/Suggestion

In the previous version, there were icons to the left of the topic's titles indicating if we've participated that discussion (star icon) or not (circle).

Is this possible to determine if I have posted in a certain thread now?

Um... Where? I hope it's not the time to buy myself glasses yet. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Spoiler

I took a look on other areas and they are there indeed, but they disappear when the thread is marked as read.

I have a suggestion from a friend of mine. He told me a while back how he found it annoying that you could not see who rated your topic.

As for myself... well I really cannot complain I love the new forums... I suppose the only thing I truly miss is the lack of friends :/

I bet you have heard that alot though!

It was mentioned before I believe, but I also miss the 'arrow' button on threads (for example in the 'View New Content' screen), that allowed me to preview the thread (now it's automatic on this version so it's fine) and mark the thread as read without entering it (that one is gone).

Yeah I miss that on subforums topic list.

Handy for easily determining context of the title.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
