Is it possible that when you're following someone, you are notified of their new status updates and new topics but not random posts in some random topic i've never heard of? It seems to count topics and posts as the same thing.

You can set it so you can get notified/ not notified of the status updates, but I definitely second the separation of topics and posts.  I just turned off being notified of posts for now, for the exact reason you said.

Maybe it's just me but if possible I would like to be able to switch to the desktop version of the site while using mobile. Personally I find the mobile version isn't as user friendly as the desktop version and makes browsing the forums harder than it needs to be.

There is no "mobile version". It's the same theme, it just adapts to your resolution. So there's nothing to switch from/to.

I don't know how popular or useful it would be, but I'd like to be able to see the available Ranks in the Profile section. Maybe click on Ranks and have a table come up of all possible Ranks and how you get to the next one. I'm guessing Veteran/Advanced Member is the top one, save for Moderator levels. Also, maybe space out the ranks a little. I'm not fully sure how they are determined, but I feel I went from 'Member' to 'Advanced Member' fairly quickly. Maybe add a couple extra levels in there too?

If it's not already happening, I'd love to have BBCode back as the source option and the code option, preferably both with Ruby and JavaScript context highlighting.  I struggle with adding code to posts on this version of the forum (maybe I'm just not using it properly).


Also, is it possible to get back the list of names of people who like your posts (and now comments, yay!)?  At the moment, it just shows a number.  I like knowing who my fans are
