earlier another user gave me a couple of scripts for anti-lag (which actually work) I noticed two things. Its comments are in a foreign language (portugese according to google translate) and has no terms of use listed.

The site is here: https://atelierrgss.wordpress.com/

Does anyone know how I can get in contact with the owner to find out the terms of use?

@StarWarrior, the ONLY script  system that we can not be sure if it is free for commercial use in atelier-rgss, is the code of  XAS ABS ,because the original scripter can not be found.

Also Mogunter's scripts are free to be used, but don't get confused. Graphics on demos might not be. ;)

Scripts though are. :)

AFAIK, XAS ABS is also free for commercial use. Or at least the XP one.

My friends use that in their Commercial RMXP game and it was long time ago.

The original poster of the XP script could not be reached.

Are you 100% sure it is free for commercial use TheoAllen?

I mean the XP one. Because if the original was meant to be free for commercial use,

and there was no problem with porting to RGSS3 then probably XAS ABS is ok to be used too.

Xiderowg is nowhere to be found though, that's why I never used XAS yet. :(

What is your information on this topic? I am pretty much interesed.  :|   :|   :|

Sigh...

@Slimmeiske2 (as always awesome) translated the terms on About:

  • Credit is optional
  • Feel free to edit the script.
  • Feel free to share your edited script (but do give credit/link back)

So here comes the deal.

Since credit is optional, if there would be an issue with commercial use, Xiderowg would really state such a thing to protect his/her scripts.

You can either edit the scripts!

But sharing edited stuff needs a credit and link back that is fair enough.

It is the original author's responsibility to protect his property, by stating appropriate terms of use, right?

I mean, I see no prohibitions here. So I can assume there aren't any.

Question is, can someone use a script in a commercial game based on such an assumption?

If yes, the script can be used by many, not just by me, to create nice games.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
