Introduction
I prepared this extension under request of @RaynRayn. Being visual novels a genre mainly focused on the story, having a menu entirely dedicated to the characters is pretty common.
Description
An extension providing a simple Profiles Menu that displays each character's report card.

Installation
How to use
  • If you want to open the menu, just call the "[FS] Profiles Menu" common event. By default, all of the characters except the first (which is supposed to be the Narrator) are shown.
  • If you want to set up a character for the profiles menu, I included a new version of Ace as an example: give a look at his parameters!
  • All of the events/code is commented, so that you can easily customize the menu at your heart's content: you can change the style, the layout and the info displayed. Just navigate through the contents until you find what you're looking for!
Suggestions
  • Since this extension uses character parameters, you can easily change the info displayed at a certain point of the game: for example, what if only spending time with Ace you were to know he isn't into gossip at all? Or what if he lied to you from the beginning about his weight? (The same goes with the profile picture as well)
  • Even if this menu was designed to provide only background-related pieces of information, you can always use it to show game-stats such us "Affection", "Stamina", "HP", "MP" and stuff. Here's an extension which you may find useful!

This looks so useful. :kaoluv:
I am not super familiar with using extensions, so I am not always sure how these things work.
How easy it to manage editting this to fit in with the look of ones game. Text size, background, etc.

Well I gave a look at yuor screenshot and it's going to be a piece of cake. Basically, all an extension does is adding resources to you project: once you install it you'll find normal common events that you can easily edit as if they were yours!

Is it possible to not have everyone be shown by default? For example, I want only to give profiles once player meets them.

Sure (hence the third poll option)!

@Tuomo L sorry, I was referring to the 4th, actually:kaoswt2:

There seems to be a problem with the Steam shop's Skyforge battle pack atm. It's not showing up in purchased DLC after buying it. I submitted a ticket to Steam support.

Steam support confirmed that the transaction was successful, but there's no content for the product listed under the downloadable content for my RPG Maker MV, so I opened the RPG Maker itself and tried looking up my DLC from there.

Lo and behold - the Skyforge is there. It just didn't show up on the downloadable DLC list in the Steam interface.

This might be important for people to know about if they buy the product on Steam.

The DLC is installed. Steam interface just doesn't tell you about it unlike the other DLC for RPG Maker MV.

I think something broke with this extension in an update, the arrows that are meant to change the selection don't work do anything, neither does the thing to exit out of the menu.

AAAGH... I hate navigating the new RPG Maker website!
Forgive my rudimentary video editing skills, thought I'd start sharing progress on my status posts as well. Here's the second character of my roster, Mǽlhafoc, the Ælven ranger.

And if you missed the first one many moons ago, here's Vilhelm, the tarnished knight.
Knocked through three more rough draft sprites. (A frog beast thing, a skeleton, and vampire bat) down to seven sprites and a thing more appropriately done as tiles.
