Hello everyone.

So, RPG Maker VX Ace can only play .ogg movies, but so far I have not been able to find a converter or a program wich could directly create .ogg movie files.

Can anyone name me a free .ogg converter or movie maker?
Thank you in advance.

That website is a good place to convert files but you cant convert files bigger than 30mb. :( If you want to convert bigger files, try the free version of AVC.

Guys free converters are Open Source converters! Also Open Source have any soft and all is free!
If you want to use usual soft you can use for example this link:

Audacity (which is free) converts anything I've thrown at it to .ogg.
This is the answer!! I have gotten sound files in all kinds of formats, and audacity allows me to simply throw it in, and export the audio as .ogg
It's a free program! And not filled with viruses/pop-ups like some sound-conversion websites...

One more for Audacity. It is super simple to use and has everything you need. Not just conversion, but also trimming, merging, changing the pitch, tempo... All the basics for the homegrown audio designer. There are better tools for the pros, but all sound designers I know started on Audacity. Why try to learn/use anything else, when this really is the place to start?

The only video file type that Ace works with is .ogv

You can use VLC to convert the video using the ogg codec and name it as .ogv and it will work with Ace. He is the thread I got the information from @Engr. Adiktuzmiko
I personally use VLC as well for video and Audacity for music.

Hey @Pharonix, just wondering what you're up to lately and if you've had an opportunity to check out the LTBS thread in the past few days...(a couple of us could really use your expertise). Hope you are well and Happy Thanksgiving!
