Hey, I was intrigued by your game because the title of it is the same as a poem I once I wrote, and after playing it, deals with similar issues (although I'd say your game is a bit darker than my poem).
Anyway, I really appreciate the work that was put into this, but unfortunately I have to leave a negative review. I found the puzzles incredibly frustrating; not even just the puzzles but the fact that you don't even know where to go and at times it seems you're just stuck, i actually was fairly convinced that my game was bugged and i had to restart it from the beginning, and I only was able to finish by following Aero's Let's Play. I pressed on because everyone kept talking about this emotional reward at the end, but it didn't happen for me. I didn't understand the ending until you mentioned the issue after the credits, and I never developed any emotional attachment to the friend because I too just found him to be creepy.
I won't say this game is TOTALLY bad though, there were moments of genuine intrigue...I just felt overwhelmed by the frustration of being unable to progress, and I didn't feel it was due to my own shortcomings, but rather the game's.
