Greetings RPGM Forums!
I was continuing the daily struggle to grind out a proper game the other day in the background a friend of mine was playing FF9 on My PS3, and doing exceptionally badly as She was at the part where the Protagonists had to save the Princess from the Prison cage in the Evil forest, and as I reminded Her that She was suppose to save said Princess not reduce Her to a fine ash, it hit Me (so did She.) was there a way to have some of the opposing battlers aid the player during battle, IE substitute for the player or cast healing spells?

In short I want to know: is there is a way to have battlers that are in troops that can provide aid to the Player's Party?

Thank You for Your consideration in this Thread and for You continued Patience inwaiting for My game to be completed, I am aware few of You out there expressed interest in My current Project and I thank You for that.

You mean in an encounter a troop that spawns alongside the enemies but helps you instead of attacking you? I suppose it's possible, although you might have to either alter scripting or give them negative attack, and a skill that does negative healing, or something to that extent, if you don't want to change the ai.

RMMV
You can simply give the enemy healing skills that target the enemies.

But you must search a way that she does not need to be defeated in order for you to win so it can make sense with the lore unless you want to kill the princess. :D

Getting them to cast supportive spells was rather easy, as You suggested, I would also like a way to get them to substitute for the player in terms of taking a hit for the player.

Killing the Princess works for one side, this is true, as for the Healing "enemies" I took that and am currently running with it, Thank You.

Think simple, my friend. :D
The most sound advice I have heard in weeks, Fireflyege.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
