Either you will have to include the RTP in your game's download file (there's a little checkbox for it when you compress your game in the engine) or your friend will have to download RPG Maker VX Ace's RTP himself from here.

I Found this : http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/3799-releasing-games-without-needing-rtp-lightweight-and-easy/

But i don't see the photos, they are invalid and the topic is closed

I Don't understand Step 2 o_O

Can't This be fixed using the less size 1?

Without Including RTP And without letting my friend download RTP?

The RTP are the graphics from the engine, and they are needed to play the game you made - because without the pictures, they have nothing to display on their monitor.

And there are three ways to get the pictures to your friends:

1) you can include the RTP as is by the checkbox when creating the archive, increasing the download size by more than 200 MB.

2) they can download the free RTP installer from this site (that is not the same as the entire engine, and they don't need to purchase the program to get the RTP) - this is preferred by many because they only need todownload RTP once and can then play any game made with it.

3) you can use the description in the locked topic you found to include only the minimum neccessary pictures from RTP in your game - this will require you to put several hours more work into your project in order to reduce the download size of your friends - and they would still need to download the free RTP whenever they want to play other RM-Games...

Why can't your friends download the RTP? Are they on a bad internet connection?

Edit: The link given above was defective, here's the correct link:

Make sure they download the correct RTP for the Maker you've used

You bring the RTP installer to him then he installs it in his computer so you friend can play it, physically via flashdisk or similar. By this, he don't have to download the RTP and he still can play it without including RTP.

The fact still stands, though, the game needs RTP, especially if you still use RTP resources. Very few RM games don't use RTP at all.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
