1.) Odd, the menu never showed up for me - so I had to do it via the code. Have you tried not entering the code, see if the relation menu still works as intended (aka highlighting only after some relations are established, but greyed out until then)?
- If that works, just remove the code.

2.) I need the console log for more information. Hit F8 while running the game in test mode, and when it crashes printScreen and paste that into a visual editor program (ie. Paint.NET, Gimp, photoshop, etc) and post that here

3.) The intent was to list the selected character's relations. Changing how it works right now is outside the scope of this plugin. However, to answer your question directly, you or whoever could alias one of the methods in Scene_Menu when selecting something (commandOk I think? Been a little bit since I've worked on this stuff) it could push the Scene_Relations scene instead of 'onPeronsalOk'.

There are no relations texts displayed, only gauges and icons. Unless that's not what you meant?

1. It does show only one if I remove the code however it doesn't have an icon and it sits after 'formation' and idk how I could edit it. I tried moving your plugin above VisuMZ mainmenu core in the plugins list, and it no longer shows the extra relations tab and shows the one with the icon, however, when I click on a character the game crashes. I assume it isn't intended this way.

2. Was able to fix this somehow. I think I had it add points to the leader but not the new member and that somehow screwed it up.

3. Ok thanks I may try this out.

Please let me know if you figure out the first issue. Or if anyone else is having this. Maybe it's from a new update of RPGMMZ or VisuMZ?

Here's a screenshot. Both tabs work as normal.

Is there an option to add icons for both romance/friendship bars? Thank you.

I just tried it today and I have the same issue.

1) I followed the instruction on page 1 and I got 2 relationship menus. Both are grayed out and cannot be accessed.

2) I managed to get rid of one of the menus. However, the other one is still grayed out.
Maybe they somehow updated the VZ menu plugin?

BTW, I was using their latest sample project to test.

I managed to get it to work.

I first ran a CE, then the relationship menu becomes accessible for all party members, except the leader.

If I access it for the leader (Reid), I get an error message.

UPDATE SEP-24-2021:
> Hotfix #3: Relations will now only show once (use steps in Page 1 for VZ MenuCore compatability as normal); Added failsafes that should prevent those errors... hopefully... and @creatureftd I added an option to the plugin parameters (turn it ON, and it'll auto-load the relations menu for the party leader -> I hope that's what you wanted?) Since I was fixing things, decided to add that for ya ;)

Is there any way to call the relations scene manually? Specifically for the party leader? SceneManager.push(Scene_Relations); doesn't work, assuming because it wants to call a specific actors relationship. I don't really understand coding so I'm lost, sorry ;;;

I'm not using VisuStella

The plugin is designed to integrate the Relations scene with the main menu. Just make sure you have the plugin parameter set to the party leader, open up the menu in-game, and go to Relations.

Hi loadvalinar. The plugin work great and its easy to use. But I am having trouble with using the [Save To Variable] Plugin Command. My requirement is to retrieve and save the "Relationship" points of event "001" in variable "1" between actor "1" and the event. See the attached image for more information. I am not sure if I am using the Plugin Command the right way. It keeps giving me "0" even though I have increased the relationship point of event 001. Your help on this is much appreciated. Thank you :smile:

This seems like an awesome plugin! Unfortunately, I'm running into this error whenever I use the plugin command "Change Relationship Points." It doesn't seem to matter if I use friendship or romance; I get the same error either way.

Just to confirm, This Aleena is an event (ID: 1), and Reid's actorId is also 1? If so, the issue might be on the plugin's end and I can look into it. Just want to make sure first the settings in the plugin command were correct :)

@Magenta-Fantasies Where are you calling the plugin command from? (An event, common event, other?)

I know you can change the relationship between the leader and an actor. Is there a way to affects two actors (not the leader) feeling toward each other? Like for example Leader gives Actor 2 flowers so Actor 3's friendship with Actor 2 goes down.

Also is there a way to check the relationship to trigger an ending?

@Magenta-Fantasies Whenever you provide a screenshot it should show the console output not the elements. Just click Console at the top next to the elements tab.
Good to know for the future!

I am calling the plugin command "Change Relationship Points" from a common event.

Alright so in order to do this (the first part between Actor 2 and 3), you'll need to do it as a script call.

JavaScript:
const actor2 = $gameActors.actor(2); // ActorID of 2 (example)
const actor3 = $gameActors.actor(3); // ActorID of 3 (example)

actor2.loseFriendship(3, 5); // actor2 likes actor3 less by 5 points
actor3.loseFriendship(2, 5); // actor3 likes actor2 less by 5 points

The second question, checking relationship, first call the plugin command to save it to a variable. After you save the variable, you can use that normally for any If-conditional checks. :)

@Magenta-Fantasies I'll have a fixed version tomorrow (my time), I have an idea - since I don't actually need it to run off of Game_Interpreter

.... actually... question - how are you running it from the common event? (are you calling the common event from an event on the map? Is it a triggered one, or parallel/autorun?) These details will matter.

EDIT2: I tested it on my end to run a common event from the EventNPC and it worked fine. Send a screenshot (either PM or here if you're okay with that) of the plugin command parameters you set.

I experimented with the plugin parameters and how I set up the variables and Actor IDs. It seems to be working now! :LZSjoy: This is an awesome plugin.

Hi there,
I'm so looking forward to using this plugin for my detective game with four possible love interests.
I'm sure that I'm just blind, but I can't find a script call for the relations screen. Is there one?
Because I'm using a custom menu plugin and have to add every menu option manually.
In the plugin instructions I only found script calls for relationship changes, but not for showing the screen with the bars.

Thank you for providing this awesome plugin!

Hello! Thank you for the kind words ^_^ I try my best. You can call the relations menu with this script call (Or well... should be able to? I have not officially tested it, but it's the script call that's made for the default menu):
JavaScript:
SceneManager.push(Scene_Relations);

If that doesn't work (because it's base class is the Scene_MenuBase) it didn't load an actor. If that's the case then do this:
JavaScript:
// Loads the menu actor manually (0 is party leader, 1 is 2nd party actor, etc);
// these load the actorId; you can of course replace "$gameParty._actors[index]"
// with the actual actorId if you already know which one you want to load in
//(but those numbers are static and may change if you move party members around)
$gameParty._menuActorId = $gameParty._actors[0];
SceneManager.push(Scene_Relations);

Working on mapping using RPGTools to create parallax maps using PVgames tiles/assets. It's super cool... but mapping is still something I drag my feet on getting done. I hate this but love the math parts of design, which is the opposite of a lot of dev's around, I think. It really do be different strokes for different folks.
