Greetings talented scripters!
I am here to request a somewhat complex plugin system to support making sci-fi based games where players play mech pilots who then enter and pilot mecha for combat. These giant robots would have hit points divided among their different components so the system would need to track and display the current hit points for different areas on the robot, as well as a armor system that would act like additional layer of hit points on top of the regular hit points. The system should also allow the game designer to assign components that are critical and if destroyed would render the character in the usual knockout state.
The plugin should also allow the game designer to assign skills, states, or otherwise seal useful attributes that the character loses when the part of the robot is destroyed.
It would also be nice to support enemies the same way, with critical areas and areas that can be damaged and destroyed and sealing off their skills and attributes.
Of course this will also require changes to the equip scene to see and equip slots for head(cockpit) Body (chassis) Right arm, Left Arm, Right Leg, Left Leg, Back and Special, or perhaps just allow game designers to explicitly determine what slots they want to have available and also required to be equipped.
