About: Furrious' Conquest is a game with familiar elements that have been put together into a unique game: it will keep you awake constantly; the urge to complete all the quests will become your new passion. Explore the world where furries and half-dragons are your best friends and your worst enemies. Are you the one that will help Furrious to bring peace to this mad World? Try out your gaming powers now!

Synopsis: The city Dragonia is captured by the villain, half-dragon DraGula. Its citizens are afraid and divided; there are the ones who want to fight against him, and the ones who serve him. Gofree (Gofri) is also a half-dragon, whose sister was kidnapped by DraGula. While looking for help, Gofree meets Furrious (a furry hero) who promises to save the city from the villain and his servants. Gofree and Furrious become companions and fight against the evil.

Gameplay: Furrious' Conquest is a single-player RPG in development where you fight battles, talk to people, follow the storyline, collect & use items and we might add even more to it.

The maps look very good. Reasonably crowded and decorated. I guess this is mostly stock stuff? This actually the first game I've played with MV and I liked it. A matter of preference, but I don't always understand the need for big numbers :)

Playing now while at work (hehe, shh)

Rawr DraGula!Almost died on my third random encounter D: But luckily managed to find the guy who gives you things - at 78 health left haha! Close one.

I really like your dialogue - it's unique! But some paragraphs are missing spaces between words - probably something to do with the line spacing

Level 3 with a sword and now I'm kicking butt! Relief!

Are the doors not working or are they just for decoration? I get it! They have to be unlocked! Cool!

The item shop's door was "open" and then closed when I entered - backward haha

Aww was just about to go into the newly opened door with Gofree when I got an error...

memory.gif

Don't know if it's because it's hosted on google, or if my work's computer is crap. I'll reload and start again!
Got to the forest scene this time!My "Special" attacks do less than my normal attacks? D:

Super injured by Dragula's protectors...

Took one step, in a random battle... aannddd... dead Dx

I'll have to save next time lol
Fun game though! I like how it was an exploration-puzzle kind of game.

One of your doors is opened and when I go into it, the door closes and I enter the building.

Hi guys! Thank you so much for playing my game and giving me feedback, especially you fallenrorelei. Idk about specials causing less damage than regular attacks but I may have fixed it now... I fixed the issue with the door closing before you teleport.

Confirmation/Select sound is the annoying, irritiating MV default. Please change it to something more tolerable. Even with SE at 20% is still pierces the ear and the brain. BLIBLING.

Encounter rate is too high.

Furriou's Fury deals less damage than the normal attack. His other moves are prohibitive given their steep MP cost.

If one of your character falls you're screwed as there seems no way to resurrect characters.

Okay for the issues that concerned me the most; skills not doing more damage than regular attacks and doors closing before teleporting, I think I took care of them.

EDIT: I'd like to see suggestions for this game: 1) Should I make this game ATB turn-based? 2) Should I remove Knockout of someone who has this state when the party has won, after the battle ends?

For 2) the answer is yes, unless you give readily available (with reasonable cost) items/spells that allow to remove KO status. As it is in the demo, if you win a battle with one of your characters fallen, and you save, you're pretty much screwed entirely. So, either put "phoenix downs" at shops or auto-remove KO at the end of battle, your choice.

About 1) I wouldn't know. Do you mean like FF7? Generally this kind of system tends to favor enourmously the speed/agility stats (since it increases the amount of actions you can take compared to others, making better for both damage, healing AND buffing/debuffing) and creates an internal unbalance between attributes, which usually goes at the expense of defensive stats. Can't say I'm a fan of it.

Okay I've made that the KO is removed after each battle, but know this: there is a way to remove KO and that is to buy Revival(what I call my game's Phoenix Down). But I think since they're relatively expensive I ended up removing KO after each battle.

Edit: Anyone else have anything to say about my ATB system idea?

I suggest toning the random encounters down a bit. Still playing.

Dialogue is unique. A few errors here and there but can easily be fixed up.

Clicking doesn't seem to work on enemies. Not sure of the cause, however.

Can anyone please do me a favor and list all the dialogue's errors' locations? I want to know who and when gives such errors.

The encounter rate is way too high, there's a fight every 4 steps, please tone it down, a lot.

I still don't see any Revival in the first town's shop.

Done and done. The encounter rate is now much lower in all the maps and more items, revival included, are in the first shop.

Edit: I meant the encounter rate is much lower. I meant to say the number of steps it takes to cause an encounter is higher.

How did you animate the enemies? Really, it's awesome...

Yes that's how you animate enemies. But can you guys leave comments about my game please? Even a rating can do.

Well it looks really pretty, and the maps are interesting, but I had some major problems with the characters. Nothing attaches me to the main character at all; everything comes easy, people either join him or fight him pretty much immediately. They party members barely have a line describing who they are. I can understand if you are focusing on the gameplay elements first, but story will be important at some point, and there needs to be more meat here than "My sister's been captured, come random guy I will fight for you." I guess there is supposed to be some precedent for who the character is that all the NPC's know, but the problem is the players don't know, and it left me pretty confused.

I'm sorry, I was lost in dazzle because of the animated battlers...

I find the slow loading online for RPGmaker games terrible, but thats not your fault...

Try not doing too much exposure, find ways within the story to tell things, Like, instead of Furrious talking to himself in the beggining, he could be talking to some anoying noble or friend.

The conversations sound a little stiff, as if they were written by george lucas or something. Try to make them more natural.

The mapping seems alright

I'm writing as I play and hell these loading screens...

Use a different window for narrator, like dim of transpearent (dim would be my suggestion)

Damn lag, hope they fix online gameplay

Why is normal humans attacking them in the middle of the city? An explanation would be great.

If Gofree is the peasant's friend, give the peasant a name

Quest log is a great idea, keep it!

I found myself running a lot from enemies, you should increase the number of necessary steps. I made the same mistake in my recent game.

but i have to agree, things come way too easy to the main character.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
