Introduction

This plugin provides a option to add fog effects on the game screen.
Easy to use and configure, you can set all fogs you desire in a few clicks.

Looks great! Does this use one of the default parallaxes for the effect, or is a custom image file required for using this?

Thanks! This plugin uses the files you must insert in the folder img/fogs. The remainder of the settings must be made through the plugin parameters. The process is very simple, but maybe later I will make a video explaining that.

I rewrote and updated the plugin code for a new version. It's much leaner and more correct now. The usage remains the same, but the performance should be even more efficient.
I took advantage and added options to control the effects, in case anyone wants to offer an option to enable them or not in the game.

Maybe i'm dpomg spo,ethomg wrong, but I'be troed this on a blank project and opening and closing the menu makes the fog disappear

It's loading images from battlebacks1 for some reason when i try to set up the plugin parameters.

Yes, this is because you need to create the img/fogs folder.

Does this happen simply when you start a battle test? I see no reason for this error to happen if everything is working properly. In all my tests here everything works perfectly and retrieving the code I can't find any logical error. What I can suggest is that you check that you have the latest version of the plugin in hand.
Just for testing purposes, you can also try testing the plugin on a project without VisuMZ_0_CoreEngine.js active.

I see plugins all over the internet for fog effects, but no actual file for the graphics themselves. Is anyone aware of an actual file that's free to use?

What a pity, given the fact that their codes is obfuscated there is nothing I can do. You can try to contact them if you're still interested.

I see plugins all over the internet for fog effects, but no actual file for the graphics themselves. Is anyone aware of an actual file that's free to use?
Image editors like Photoshop or Gimp have options to generate fog images, for example. Also I believe that there are packages with this type of content, the MV Trinity resource pack is one that I remember now.

Actually they have a channel on their discord specifically for making other plugins compatible with there's.

Does this support larger screen resolutions? I'm trying to use it with screen width set to 1104 (and the fog image size is also 1104 pixels wide).

When I try it out, the fog appears, but it's off-centered and tiled on the right side. 1600612155404.png


The clear gutter is meant to be in the center, so I'm wondering if the issue is that the larger screen size is throwing it off.

Thanks for the issue. The plugin is compatible with any resolution. I updated the plugin, please download it again and tell me if it will work correctly.
