Galv Fishing mini game black screen, need help

every time i try to go into the fishing minigame it always bugs out on a black screen,
it could be because of YEP plugins conflicting with it, but i have no clue

Well, have you tried turning the Yanfly plugins off to see if it changes anything?

i tried it and now instead of the black screen, i get this type error when i begin to enter the minigame

Which is the same error that you see in the console traces above.

Something is incorrect with code that's entered into a Script event command and it's causing the engine to reference things that don't exist.

I've never looked at this plugin so I don't know how it's set up, but you'll need to double check the instructions and provide screenshots of anything relevant.

This error can come up if you've loaded a save file that was created prior to setting up the fishing plugin. If you start New Game does the error still occur?

Or it might occur if the fishing event wasn't set up properly.

Maybe? But then how would there be script commands in the event to run functions from the fishing plugin?

@ATT_Turan Continuing from a save file created before the plugin was installed caused issues for me (same error). The only solution was to start a New game when playtesting.

@Jasanimation I've copied Galv's response to someone posting the same error on his website/blog:

Try checking off this list. It sounds like the object for the fishing hole you are trying to call wasn’t created. Make sure to start a new game after adding the plugin and make sure you are referencing a hole you created. See the demo for examples.

alright so ive started a new game, and it works quite well, however, i tweaked the resolution to 1280 and 720 so i might need to change it up a little

Ive stretched most of the textures to fit the resolution but somehow i cannot move the actor and the fishes in the plugin menu, even though i tried changing the values in the parameters

...again, are you saving your project and starting a new game after you change those parameters?
