Hey people, you see I am using Galv's Jump Ability script in my game (https://galvs-scripts.com/galvs-jump-ability/) and there's something that this script needs, a sound randomizer when it jumps, the sound can get reeeally repetitive if I am using a voice sound effect (an array of sounds maybe?) I tried asking Galv himself but he told me he doesn't have the time right now and told me to ask around in the forums, so here I am... I was wondering if any scripter out there can give me a small fix? If that isn't much of a problem! Thank you!

there's only two default sound effects, so this just randomizes between the two.


just find this line:


if @can_jump
RPG::SE.new(Galv_Jump::JUMP_SE[0], Galv_Jump::JUMP_SE[1], Galv_Jump::JUMP_SE[2]).play
jump(@jump_x, @jump_y)
@followers.each { |f| f.jump(@x - f.x, @y - f.y) }
end




and replace it with this:


if @can_jump
sounds_effects = ["Jump1","Jump2"]
RPG::SE.new(sound_effects.sample, Galv_Jump::JUMP_SE[1], Galv_Jump::JUMP_SE[2]).play
jump(@jump_x, @jump_y)
@followers.each { |f| f.jump(@x - f.x, @y - f.y) }
end


If you'd prefer to get rid of the one that sounds like something from Loony Tunes, just erase "Jump2" from the array. You can manually add any additional jump sounds you might have by adding their filename to the array

I tried with 2 sounds and 6 sounds, both gave me this error, RIP

Just getting started on RPG maker and having a blast!
I am once again escalating in the kitchen. I might or might not be 4 types of cookies into baking and not finished...
Today is a great day!
A bust of my character, Lizzabelle, that I put together in GIMP. I combined the RMMZ generated face with my actual illustration of her. This is just me experimenting with busts. I don't really want to use busts in dialogue, but perhaps in the character menu.
