Im using galv's map travel plug in and have it working for the most part. So here is my issue. The player will discover a fast travel location and it works until another fast travel location is discovered. Once another location is discovered, it wont transfer the player to the desired map. Instead it transfer the player to the map they are currently on and trying to depart from. I have galv's demo game so I can see how he set things up and everything. So its a bit confusing what im doing wrong. Im CronicaL#8388 on discord if anyone would wanna chat that way, I can send video of what is occurring to help understanding.

Make sure you specify the variable in 'Transfer Map Variable' to one that isn't being changed elsewhere.
When you set a location, make sure you are setting the map id to the correct map id you want that location to teleport to.

Thank you! You're 100% correct, once I read your comment and I thought about it and there was another event effecting that variable.

Galv, while I got you, on the fast travel map the town picture is only showing the top half and the tent location picture is running through the tent images right to left over and over. any advice on that? big thank you in advance! Love your plug ins!

Check the demo and how the images look. They are cut into 3 separate rows (image height divided by 3 for each row). These are used for if the location graphic, if the cursor is active over it or if it is disabled,

ah, thank you again. I matched the animated frames to what was in the demo and it fixed it right up. However, there is only examples for loc_tent which is 1 animated frame. then loc_mansion which is 3 animated frames. But for loc_town I've tried 0-3 animated frames and it never works right. 1 frame it comes close but only shows the upper half of the loc_town image. thank you for all your patience and advice!

Proper localization into several languages on a commercial rpg project might be one of the best signs that the developer is super invested into making the game something high effort, because it ain't cheap to hire good translators.
6 hour drive back from Florida and I was able to plan out 6 mini game Common Events for my Game Jam entry, including a new one I hadn't thought of before. Also had some new ideas to improve what I already have and the post game options to continuing playing the mini games that you liked or didn't get to try. Pretty productive drive.
