Introduction
This was requested so I thought it would be interesting to do. While I have seen games that successfully use this effect in their messages - I want to warn people that you can easily make something very annoying to players.

Features
Add sound effects for when each character appears during 'Show Text' messages. This can be changed during game.
Add sound effect to when 'Show Text' message is closed. This can also be changed.


How to Use
- Copy the "GALV_MessageSoundEffects.js" file into your project's /js/plugins/ folder.
- Activate plugin using the 'Plugin Manager'
- Read the 'HELP' documentation (also found in plugin manager) for more details and try the demo if you don't understand.

There is already such a plugin in the Kadokawa folder, called PlayMsgWndCharSE.js D: What's the difference with your script?

No idea, I haven't tried it. But it can't hurt to have options.

For what I've seen I like this one a lot more than PlayMsgWndCharSE.js, feels nicer and less random. Also the cute sound after closing the text window is a plus.

I noticed that when I used PlayMsgWndCharSE, none of the word wrap plugins worked. So... maybe this would be a useful replacement that doesn't have that issue?

does yours work in battles for when player is hit and attacked and uses skills/spells etc.? I've tried using battle voice by Sasuke Kanazuki but it doesn't seem to work...? I'm using Yanfly's atb plugin

This plugin only adds sound effects to messages, not battle actions

Is there, any way to change the pace of the sound? it sounds too quick.

It currently plays once for each character displayed (eg. each letter, number, etc.)


I will add to my to-do list to code an option to make it play less often

is there any chance you could check on this Galv? I'm using yep message core and the word wrapping feature and it just doesnt seem to work...

Put this plugin below Yanfly's message system in the plugin manager and it will work. You can cut/paste your plugins to move them around

I'm sorry Galv,

It seems its not your plugin which is causing this, it was Text_Pop_Events from Nelderson.

I just forgot that I added that plugin too. Turned it off and it seems to work now perfectly.

Love this plug-in. Any chance for an update where you can control the panning? It would be cool for dialog and cut scenes. 


though I don't know javascript, I looked at the script and it seems fairly simple/concise. Pretty sure that all I'd need to do to alter this would be to add an extra parameter. If anyone could let me know how I could alter the script myself, I would be very appreciative.

I tried this plugin but when I export to a web-playable version it doesn't want to play the sound, also it makes the game freeze. If played a regular windows version it works perfectly though. Not sure what causes this, same goes for the kadokawa plugin which is similar, so maybe it was something weird I did.
