Galv's "use item" script trouble

Hey I was wondering if someone could help me.
I have Galv's use item script, where you stand in front of an event and bring up your key items, like so...

However if I use ANY other button other than "Z" on the keyboard to use it...nothing will happen which will confuse whoever is playing. You can also bring up this above screen by hitting "S" but if you do that and not "A" then nothing will happen when you use the item.
I also am having issues if I use it anywhere other than the event itself. Instead of just nothing happening either this happens...

Which it is obviously grabbing a picture from somewhere somehow. Or this happens...

Can someone please help? My event page what I WANT it to look like, looks like this...

I figured it out...
I'm pretty new to scripting so I'm making A LOT of dumb mistakes. (You guys have the Patience of saints) for anyone else who might have this problem, as it CLEARLY states in the instructions in the Script, you have to change the Variable common event. Mine was on 1 when my actual common event was 2. DOY!!
I also had another script installed that brought up the Items with "S" not "A" so I got rid of that one.
