Game changing sprite after used.

I have a sprite sheet, and I have a "Music Note" and a "Book".

After my character picks up the Book from the ground, everything's fine, except where the book used to be, the "Music Note" sprite replaces it, even though I didn't code that.

I'm not as familiar with these engines, but in the later ones, there is an option to select Direction Fix for the event. This prevents the character from turning. Sometimes on sprite sheets that aren't a typical walking animation, if it "turns" it can change to a different character or, likely in this case, a different object. So, check and see if direction fix is an option to set.

Otherwise, the game thinks that your object is just a normal character, like an NPC or an animal, and they turn towards the player when you interact with them. In this case, you are using the spritesheet for different objects (and not just different facing directions for one and the same graphic), so it appear to transform into another object when it "turns".

Oops, sorry, actually you need "Fixed Graphic".

But to ensure there is not some other issue here, can you show us Screenshots of what you configured in your event?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
