Thanks, I will just need to get used to it without clicking on the file button to create a sprite for VX Ace.GCH is completely independent of any maker, and can be used to make sprites for any program as long as you can set up the components and bases in the correct format.
Is GCH specifically states that any output from it can legally only be used for Maker - "independent" is a bit contextual in your response. Case in point, the GCH states the output is exclusively for the maker series which limits the use of it to the maker series.GCH is completely independent of any maker, and can be used to make sprites for any program as long as you can set up the components and bases in the correct format.
Necropost? could you paste a link? I'm sorta lost lol.I imagine if there were plans to update it, a year is plenty of time to do it in. That's one awesome necropost too, btw!
To the comment from May, the output from GCH can only be used in RPG Maker if you use the supplied resources to create your characters because those resources are based on the RPG Maker RTP. If you import your own resources that you made from scratch, and don't use the stuff that comes with the program, you can use the resulting sprites wherever you want.
