RMMZ Game Idea: Atelier Anthrax

I had an idea for a game about a shopkeeper who befriends a homeless magicial girl, Minky Momo. Minky Momo was a successful magicial girl with her own anime and such until she was rendered homeless after the Japanese economy crashed during the early 90's. However, once the two become friends, they have to get Momo's wand from a shopkeep whom is no other than Benito Mussolini with the battle theme being Funiculi Funicula.

However there is danger lurking about as Henry Ford has gathered a gang of ruthless carmakers ranging from the Dodge Brothers to John Delorean as they are trying run Momo down. By gathering a group of party members, Anthrax and Momo defeat Henry Ford's goons one by one till they reach his fortified Dearborn factory.


Just an insane idea I have.

Okay so more info on things I want to add.

For one the game will be set in a place reminiscent of 1980's England complete with a Thatcher-like prime minister, class warfare, and the presence of a parody the IRA. The game will also be a commentary on why unrestricted capitalism isn't that all too great.

There will also be multiple endings:
The good endings involve beating the game as normal or completing a series of quests where you join the Communist party and liberate Henry Ford and his goon's workforce, the Thatcher-esque prime minister becomes the final boss on this route.

There are three bad endings, one is when you lose in battle against Henry Ford and his goons. Then you can get a bad ending by bribing your way through the national government to arrest Henry Ford and will involve lots of money grinding (but I'll probably add a mechanic to get a lot of money without having to grind on enemies all day), this is a bad ending because instead of facing against a broken system, you become it. The final bad ending involves joining the IRA (which gives you access to some crafting recipes such as pipe bombs) and defeating Henry Ford and then assassinate the prime minister. Its a bad ending because terrorism is bad m'kay.

Then there will be a joke ending where its all revealed to be an episode of Top Gear complete with RPG Maker Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.


The game may be streamlined if put into production and some of these endings may be cut or modified as situations present themselves. The game will still be full of humor like the rest of my games so don't fret if the idea of this game being full of social commentary (and socialism to an extent) is kinda of a downer. It will only add to the insanity of the game.
