Hello! :kaohi:

So, I'm about to post my game in the "Game In Development" so that I can get feedback and motivations to keep going (currently in Moderated stage). But now that I think about it, would I risk from people plagiarizing ideas and/or stealing art? And if those incident do happen, what should I do? :kaodes:

Thank you

A lot of people post in the Games in Development section. While there is a *possibility* of people taking ideas from your game, I don't think anyone will steal your custom art (characters, battlebacks, cgs etc..) But things like tilesets might be taken. There's nothing to do about this. You can encrypt your game but that's all you can do. If people want to steal assets, they will do so no matter what measures you take. If you see anyone making a game very similar to you to the point that it's suspicious, contact a moderator. However, I don't think anyone in this forum would do such a thing.

Ideas are cheap. Everyone could get the idea from basically anywhere. Ideas have no value. Implementation and execution that has the value. You could claim if someone is plagiarizing if you have a proven concept of your idea than just "hey, I have this idea a long time ago, you're stealing!".

Woke up in the middle of the night with some game mechanic ideas. Unfortunately, they're for a new game, not the one I'm currently working on. Must... not... get... distracted!
I'm wondering about making a new pack of monsters or just divide them and add to my current packs. I'll end up having like 10+ packs If I just have 27 per pack xD

Hi ! I see that you're a mod, right ? Can I ask you a question here ? If not, where ? So sorry
I just whipped up the blueprints for the final level in my game. (I say final, when really there is a final boss stage after this, but it's only like two maps long)
The good thing about making a scarecrow is, I can just use a T-pose on it and call it an animation. :kaojoy:
