Day 2:

Mostly just testing today. Catching some grammatical errors and oddities and fixing them. I also tweaked the dialogue itself to keep it more in context with the cutscene I'm working on. I wish RPG maker had a better debugger.

@Archeia: The center level up animation isn't legible enough, but since this is for the Luna Engine it ultimately doesn't matter that much.

Day 1:

Completely finished my gray cave tileset and have begun working on a crypt tileset.  So far I have the walls and floor done.

Both of those maps are just tests.  The color would look much better had I uploaded in a format other than JPEG.

I finished the serialization bit I was working on. Unfortunately, I have not finished the unserialization bit. Oops. Serialization was a real pain (And I wanted to compress it too, but gave up on that recently because I couldn't decompress it and get the same result :/), but undoing it will hopefully be an easier solution. I do have an idea as to how to get it done. In the mean time, does anyone want to see if they can figure out how

And for my Day 2.

Today I mostly worked on some dialogue and story ideas. I also like making sketches to mindmap whatever is in my head at that time and the emotion I'm trying to evoke for the character. They usually look like this:

Then I worked a bit on some sprites. And some GUI thing, which I ended up deleting since it's not good enough :T

Then I tested the LiAR game to get a gist of the execution, and see if I need to change something at the first chapter.

Ah they're for fun and not really used for anything. Besides, I don't think they're good enough to be actually a resource haha.

I worked more on my map, it's not much, but it was a lot of restructuring and notetaking for the future.

I didn't really continue my opening sadly, instead I did more planning for it and I'm really liking the idea I had for it :3. And I also did some music hunting for the opening scene(s).

I had a bunch of ideas regarding my story and started revising my game to incorporate it. Besides that I did some mapping for the opening scenes, Well only one is finished the rest is large maps so yeah...

I made the Alchy Pot, a talking, ill-tempered kettle for crafting goodies. Aside from this I didn't feel like doing anything else today. :x

No, just make sure you do 4 posts a week, and I'll make a note that the days will change. Note - a "week" starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. So as long as you've got 4 posts within that range, you'll be good. I've put you into Ksi.

Completed my crypt tileset for now.  If more things come to mind to add I will do so.  Since I haven't started the game yet it is hard to tell what I'll need for the future.

The skeleton piles look a little odd too, so I'll get to those some other time.

I'm back from my visit to my family. Was really great to see them again after a year even if I had to get tested for covid for the visit.
Sometimes... I do absolutely genius things... But then I counteract that by spending all day trying to figure out what's wrong with my event creator... Only to learn I commented out some lines in MV... Not even in my plugin. This must be why villains "true heroes" don't win in the end. :kaoswt:
