This will be my final entry for this GMD.
I started working on editing the Demon King sprite to make a walk cycle, along with a few extra surprises.
To further my understanding of a finished game I've started to dissect Skyborn. So far I found very common errors that is causing me second guess whether I am better at mapping and bug hunting than I thought, or simply more thorough a play tester.
Battle is good, the art is fantastic, the story is well told, but the mapping and small errors are piling up. These are the things I was told not to do as a non commerical project. I'm confused if anyone has caught these issues since it's been released reading the comments on steam.
I've made character hub able to process DS character sprites, and can now create a variable army of sprites much faster than my old method. I can even make "Masks" for orcs , kobolds, and other non humanoid characters.
