@sleeperer I am not being sarcastic when I say that I can't be sure whether it's too RTP or not because the image is so dark that I can't see that much. I can see the bottom right corner, but have no idea what is to the left or above (if anything).

I also think the map is a bit too dark. I had to turn my brightness all the way up, which is rather sorry for my migraine-inflicted eyeballs, lol. Even then I can’t make much out.

@sleeperer Personally, I think it looks fine. But that is just me. And I could be totally wrong here, but in my perception, the only people who would think something is "too RTP" are those who either use that version of RM and are very familiar with the RTP or someone who has played a lot of RM games so they are familiar with the RTP. Or maybe they think they are.

For instance, I haven't played hardly any RM type games and I have only really explored MZ. I really don't have any idea what the RTP looks like for the other versions.

I think a casual player who isn't familiar with a lot of RM games wouldn't know it was RTP. But again, I could be completely wrong about that.

@sleeperer That lamp makes all the difference! I think it looks fine. The only suggestion I would make which would apply whether the tiles were rtp or not, is that basements are usually a bit on the scruffy/dusty side. The staircase, however, positively gleams. I'd edit it by taking out a bit of the brightness and adding in the odd dirty mark. The same with the clean floor. There is a dirty path semi-transparent tile in A2 which you could use to mess up the floor a bit.

@sleeperer Justify that neat condition by claiming the character's mom clean it up the whole place before leaving. :p

The following picture is a mix of some KKRR tileset and the RMXP RTP, version 5.
Yes, the portal is animated because I used the lava autotile and then covered it with modified tilesets of that very same eerie portal. It feels good to be tricksy here. XD

Is it just me? Or are those doors like pretty much alive? :D

Here's version 7 of my Lava Dungeon.

I simply removed some shadows that destroyed the illusion of watching Aluxes or Alex get in trouble in an actual dungeon full of molten metals that could easily turn you into a "living" statue. :S

@kyonides nice idea! When the event happens, her mom is outside, working. I even planned to give a small carpet. Haha.
Your map is neat! I don't find any RTP things. Looks unique and well made. The portal remind me of War Craft.

Actually, all the lava you can find there comes directly from the RTP! XD
The wall tiles and even the floor ones were way darker than on version 5 I think. :S

A small carpet? That one gotta look kinda old, I guess.

Yeah, carpet/rug, her home is a lot of carpets. It makes the floor more unique and pleasant to see.

The house in the upper right corner looks weird because of that empty space on the roof. The houses with the red roofs look quite plain, almost unidimensional. :(
The rest of the neighborhood seems like a lively place to live :) ...or hide some potential weapon of mass destruction that could scare the hell :o out of you all. :S You know, sometimes mad scientists pick those beautiful towns where people aren't supposed to be very bright...

My One Map Challenge is nearing completion. I am in the multiple run testing phase atm. This is the map. Beware the minotaurs in the maze area. The female ones are more aggressive. Can you prove to the land of Winchell that a dragon and a human can love each other?
