They're not showing fully in here. They're right size.@Mister Big T: It's looking really good; got a nice icy feel. However, the beds and tables look too small for the sprites.
Expect this is a commercial game. They mean the sprites are too large for the functional use of the furniture (bar the rocking chair.) The beds... half their legs would be hanging out, they couldn't fit their knees under the table, that winter coat would be hard-pressed to fit the frame of either character and they're both as tall as both the bookshelf and cabinet.
Frankly, I have no issue with this as most non-commercial games suffer from this malady, but usually the other way around (the furniture being too big instead). But, yeah...
That is impossible to do, would take tons of time and would probably Frick up with the battle system.Well, that right there is a thing. Commercial games usually have more detail put in to the scale of things when using custom graphics (like your character sets). Unless, of course, it's a surreal game, but I don't think that's the case of yours, yes? What I'd recommend is editing the sprites to be a little shorter. That way you won't have to rework the whole tileset to fit them. Also, as a commercial game, you might want to make the colour scheme of the sprites match the tiles a bit more. They're a bit too saturated to 'fit' well with the tile colours, which have a more washed-out feel to them.
You know what they say, Presentation is everything! Especially when you're looking to sell the finished product.
