@zachfoss: Whoa man, nice maps! Though I did notice a few things in your first map.
What is exactly is the greyish object on the right side of your map? It's resolution looks different from the rest of the map. And I'm assuming this is a beach right, so that duck/goose/swan looks out of place. Also maybe it's just me but I think you have a little too much going on in the for shallow waters. I'd say to cut down on the corals and... what is that in the top right hand side of the map...?
Thank you, highly appreciate with all the feedback and criticism That grey-ish thing is suppose to be a dead squid. Haha, I thought that was a pelican, but my bad. You're right, butterflies don't belong in the beach, I should add like crabs instead.
@zachfoss: on the left side of the first map, one of the palm tree shadows overlaps another palm tree and I don't think it should. Very nice looking maps overall
@zach
Lookin' great dude! I really like what you did with the cliffs there! They're a pain to edit, ain't they? I still use 'em though XD
@Rim
That's pretty trippy! I like it, especially the writing on the walls. It's comming along awesome
@Prof
Well, there's Cel's that you could use! But, there aren't many river autotiles that match Mack's stuff.
Anyway, here's one from me. This time, it's a forest! (Yay! Original! /blisteringsarcasm)
There aren't that many white wave lines, it's just 3 frames of the map put into one. Yay for animated parallaxing!
@Shin: Nice menu, although some of those icons look familiar... The icon for the "Item" tab is from Dragon Quest 9 right, Perfect Panacea and the Equipment is a bolt of Evencloth right? Where'd you find those? :3
I made my own icon set with nearly 21,000 icons in it. Pretty much every icon I could find, make, or have an idea to make and might have a use for one day.
we can critique him on the icons he used and on the information that he showed on the menu...
btw, I just noticed, the camping icon used looks like a rice ball... for the load icon, maybe something that doesn't have a quill is better... because a quill symbolizes writing, and loading is like reading...
Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
