@Cluly, I looked at buying that set as I love the look. I am just not so sure on how well it would match up with the style of the RTP.

Do you feel there are enough tiles in it by itself to be usable? If so I may pick it up still.

I do enjoy the map you made, though, well done!

Shinma, Pixel Myth is a unique style of its own.

It won't fit with the RTP since the RTP is like a brushed styled, while Pixel Myth is pixel art.

The current Pixel Myth pack is self-sufficient, although it's mostly town and outskirts tiles for now. There are no character sprites yet, though there is a pack in the making.

Almost all the tiles available can be seen in the screenshots in the main store. ^^

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I think I will pick it up and give it a try as well.

Practice with the Germania tileset ... love it
Looks really nice.

One thing, though. If that house is an inn, shouldn't it be a bit bigger?

@ Shinma - I feel its usable, it feels more like the XP RTP than the Ace RTP. The interior tiles aren't as fleshed out as the exterior ones either. It may match up with XP's RTP better than ACE's I feel. It's worth it for sure.

@ Anarok - Ha, yeah it should be, but I just started doodling in the editor on default size and stuck the sign on later on.

I really like the interface design of Tactics Ogre, especially We Cling Together. That and FF:Tactics A2 are big inspirations in terms of usability and functional but minimal interfaces. Glad to see someone recognizing those touches :D

@phoenix_rossy :

Maybe you can check the script tha you are using for the choices window to see if you can push the windows higher.

@Kurinkitafu :

Looks nice. Are you planning on adding some sparkles or mist in the background and/or foreground to add a more dreamlike feel?

@Cluly :

Oh yes. That map looks really good!

I can almost see the chickens in the backyard. ^^
@Susan, ooooh! No I wasn't, but that sounds like a really good idea! :D

Almost completed the Creature Compendium index page, complete with proper sorting and a hotkey when using keyboard or controller. When using a mouse, you can just click the sort buttons directly if you want (not show because mouse is still buggy...)

A small beach I mapped for my new and secret project. I think it's turning out pretty good, especially with the colorful tiles and tint.

I do miss having real tints though. What you see is only a zoomed in and edited fog picture. The pixels aren't too noticeable in this screen though.

Redrawn Underground caves map, with a tint. What do you think? This is only the viewable part of the undead town that is in the game, as the rest is in development:

I've had to tweak the tints from the Lighting tutorial as those seem *very* dependent on a lighting script (they are too dark to my eyes with no lighting scripts), but any suggestions on how to shift the tint a little so it seems more like a cave?

@quicon ... very nice :) liking it! Too bad it's not by you v_v who is it by?

@bgill ... i don't know what to think, it's tinted :3 that's all I could come up with as it's not much of a setup :p

@luiishu ... good job (thumbsup)

@galenmereth ... nice progress :) There's something about the screen dim and small light orbs that does not sit right with me. It's because all the light orbs show up at once, I know it displays what you can select on but it doesn't look that great.

@DMIgames: I agree with the fade; something was off with it. Scythuz gave me the idea of using a different kind of cover and color when you activate help mode, and I implemented that + brighter dots for highlighting what can be selected. I have to say I disagree on them appearing all at once not looking good; I did try alternatives, but it's important that the player isn't left waiting for this, as the help menu is supposed to be a quick way to figure things out :)

The recent days I've updated the menu quite a lot. Today I decided to go fullscreen on the main menu, leaving way more room for text and info without it getting cramped. The menu navigation itself is also changed:

@DMI - all my art is being done by this lovely lady.

House is still being worked on, but I thought I'd take some time at figuring out how to do more pixel art orientated lighting (pixelate tool in photoshop thank you for finally having a purpose~)

big-ish image - upped me resolution a little.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
