@Celianna: 100 pages!
This is the new headquarters of the players. It gets filled up with actors as the game progresses as well as other npcs. The large table is used in few cutscenes where they all gather to make plans. (Note, this screenshot doesn't show events so it's missing one bed that's evented at the left facing down and the top of the gray one which has evented top to preserve passability and several layers of the beds)
The diagonal beam looks out of place...
And I think the room with the beds has too many different colors.
What do you mean out of place?
I just think that there is no real need for it and because it blocks the view for other things I would leave it out ^^
You could also move the diagonal beams to the edge corner to the left about 2 tiles to the left? that would make more sense.
I tried but it was really off looking. I guess I'll remove it.
Made a small pub.
* Crocodile dundee voice: you call that a small pub? THIS is a small pub!
ps: how to you hide content?
^ I like this guy =))
This is supposed to be a Warrior's Guild... SUPPOSED to be... The right, a mess hall; the left, a training room.
Unfortunately, I'm saddened by the fact that I don't have weapon stands, dummies, or anything of the like to make it appear that way. I guess my map is to remain empty? o.o
Populate it with npcs andboxes and barrels Never for get their importance as space filler.
You could also use some weapon icons as items to put on the shelves. Candy coded response conveniently already placed them in a character sheet, I always use them: https://ccrgeek.wordpress.com/rpg-maker-ace/graphics/character-sprites/
You could also make the sparring area slightly smaller, just one or two tiles less in both width and height would make the area feel much more natural once you add npcs
@StrawberrySmiles I added some new Time Fantasy additions in this thread and added candles, too. A street lamp doesn't really have a place inside a house.
Hope that helps. I also agree with Nirwanda that you should make the sparring space smaller. And I would add a fireplace in the kitchen. What I find weird are the long tables but with no way to get around them and with no chairs. I would make the long tables 1 or 2 tiles smaller. And why are there those small tables stacked in the corner?
I also noticing that some rooms don't have shadows on their left side. You have the shadow in the little office (very nice by the way), but not in the sparring room or the upper part of the dining area. I would place shadows under the doorways to the office and kitchen, too.
Thanks for the link Candacis! I feel so derp.
I fixed a lot of what you guys said, actually. I just didn't take a screenshot since I want NPCs in it.
For now, there's this?
Ned in the iron throne. I tried to recreate this specific scene from the Tv show (Game of Thrones).
The North Remembers!! I like the atmosphere it's very similar <3 Love it. I would like to see more of this ^_^
I would suggest fixing that lighting at the back of the iron throne. it should have a shadow casting from the shape of the design.
Thank you, Kaus. I tried to add a shadow for the drawing, but the outcome strongly disagreed from the rest of the map. then I decided to withdraw.
StrawberrySmiles, it's a pleasant map, but you could add more details, like flowers or some bushes if possible.
°•Luke•°, You already know my opinion. As a GoT lover, I appreciate much to see maps like this.
Then... other map finished. It's the entrance of a castle, in the main city of the story.
That's cool bro, i've made an version too: http://rocketdesignre.deviantart.com/art/ASOIF-The-Winter-is-coming-Update-441924643
