@Lakaroth:

I like the more simple and clean look of your tiles. Are the gates supposed to connect with the walls of the cave or on top of a hovering platform? I can't tell.
Yeah it's an hovering platform, the road end there, they are ald ruins.

Anyway i'm still testing, some photoshop maps 48X48 grid based, without the tool i cant do real tileset and maps, this is a sample :)

They are nice tiles, but there is a point of consistency which bothers me.  Behind the gates is what looks like the remnants of bits of vegetation.  If they've been standing above that lava (?) for long enough for them to become ruins, I don't think your vegetation would have lasted until now - not without earth, not without water, not in that heat.

oh I love this. Looks soo pretty.

But I not know if it is intentional or not? How can you get to the door top left or to sit on the furniture on the bottom left??

How's anyone going to access the left door without jumping over the furniture? :o

@Alexa: You are not supposed to get to the top door, as that is the innkeepers nook, so like an employee only area. Getting to the sitting area isn't important, either, but if it bothers lots of people, I can fix it. :) This is a map you are literally in for only 5 minutes, and never in it again. Lol.

@Ruby:

There are some things strange, especially on the top-right part.

The library is 3 tiles high, against a 2 tiles high wall.

Why is the floor made of stones in this corner? Is it the actual entrance from outside? Still it'd be an odd place for an entrance.

Why is the wall 2 tiles thick in this section?

You have a rug on the right part, leading to a closed wall. Either it leads to another room (clear the wall) or remove the rug, as it has no purpose there.

How do you access the couches in the bottom-left part?

I know, it's for a 5 minutes action area, but as a screenshot we get to watch it for a longer time ;)

It makes good sense for an innkeeper nook.

It not to bother me at all. but you should put a shiny over there and mess with people  :D

It is a secret entrance to the outside! The library wall slides over and there is stairs leading away from the inn, because of story specific reasons. :)

The wall 2 tiles thick is my bad, I didn't catch it, haha. Thanks!

The rug on the bottom right leads to the hallway where rooms are accessed.

Anyway, here are the changes! Thanks for the help!

If it's the place where the innkeeper is, perhaps make it a real counter, instead of using two small cabinets :p right now it's a tad confusing, I thought it was some place the player was supposed to have access to.

Ahh, are you using Hira's materials? I have always wanted to try out those modern materials. Your map is nicely done. (Futuristic set blended in, no?)
Thank you very much !  Yes i'm  using futuristic  , modern day ,steam punk , and hira materials

Here is a new screen with the progress .

Tall buildings are fun to make, but remember to check out how high your screen will display them in-game.

I like your map. It's tough to combine resources, but when well done it is very exciting and interesting. very nice.

Here is my map for RPG Maker MV of a modern home made with my modern exteriors and a WIP gable roof.

(lizzy flowers, candacis' fence, hypersnake/aljeit trees)

bleh forgot roof shadows. Amateur parallax mistake, I guess. =P

I think you need to add a cast shadow at the top of your wall autotile Granny.  It becomes more obvious that it's missing when mapped right next to the two peaked roofs that do have the shadow built in.  I think you should also shift click out the outside edges when doing inside corners, it looks a bit disconnected from the rest of the house the way you've got it mapped now.  Since it's parallax, cut back end of the peaked roofs at an angle to show it connecting to the other roofs.  In 3D view they'd both be peaked so at this view, where they meet would be about a 22.5 angle and the peaks would meet up at the top, one wouldn't be taller than the other.  I can do an edit to show what I mean if text isn't clear enough.

Ah, that is the problem I have found with Celi's tiles. I'm not a fan of the autotile counters, so I am probably going to have to edit it into a real counter, lol, but I'm on the same boat as you!

I didn't noticed the roof's shadows!  ^_^  It felt too peaceful.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
