@mlogan

That is one of the few sensible uses of the curtain wall and ceiling tiles that I've seen in a long time.

@mlogan - That's gotta be the fanciest store ever. I really like how you placed the statues in wall indentantions. Never would have thought about it. *steals idea

ksjp17 - Haha, yeah. While I think it's supposed to make the interior of a tent, it's hard to use well. If I were going to actually use this map, I'd make a piece of the top of the tent and put it on a B-E sheet with star passability.

@Nirwanda - Yeah, a fancy market was the idea. And glad you liked the alcove, I wasn't sure about how it looked with the wall being elevated there. It might look better like I usually do it, with the satues sitting on the floor, but recessed.

@Darkness - The are supposed to be recessed, sitting on a shelf or something. It's not the best look with RTP, I just wanted to experiment.

Just felt like seeing if I could make something interesting with only unedited RTP.

I have to agree with DarknessFalls, I think it would be better if the statues were on platforms in the water instead. The recess shelves don't offer a very good perspective with what the RTP gives you.

It just looks great! The statues on the wall seems a we bit like standing up as keriathides in some antique market protectively watching the goods and custumers. And it overall gives a welcoming felling!

Great Deku Tree! Hath thou finally awakened? :o

Nothing serious, just testing out some tiles for a secret project. I really hope I'll be able to convert these to MV somehow...

@Diaeitsch

There is something bugging me about those tree trunks. I love the leaves and the detail but it seems like the trunks of the trees stand out way too much in contrast to everything else. Although that might be the art style you want, so .... ignore me?

@luiishu535

is this parallaxed? The details and the fog is stunning.

The arrow pointing to the door and off the map seem a bit much, like you have to explicitly tell the player you can go here, no real sense of exploration IMO. I also feel like celinas trees dont work with default trees, but that could just be me being picky. Other then that amazing work.

@DarknessFalls:

Thanks for your comment. I'm glad that you like the leaves. Making treetops was always "a pain" for me, though by now I have a very easy and fast way to make them. Actually, I have just pixeled two (!) different leaves. The trunks are very plain indeed, one could even say sterile. Anyway, that's how I want them to be. :)

@DarknessFalls: It's all editor, baby. I've heard about your sentiment concerning the arrows before by others. If I'll ever use them in my future games, I'll most likely give the player the ability to turn them on/off. I've grown to enjoy the mash up between the trees, but as they are different in style, I understand that some might see a clash going on. Nothing is final here, so I guess I'll experiment more with the trees in the future. :)

@Engr. Adiktuzmiko

I feel like things are very off balanced. First the Book shelves on the left hand side of the room make it look like the whole centre of attention leans that way. Second, whats death trip? Do you mean death trap?

Second this room feels rushed, what is it exactly? a church and inn a pub? the tables say pub, the windows say church the items on the wall say training area? wouldn't the tables get in the way?

Whats the statue represent? You also placed flowers in every corner of the room - reason?

My piece of advice would be to focus on the reason for the room, the people and decorations and build around that :D

to fix your off centre view of the room place a book shelf on the other side of the room, so split up the two you have.

Finished up one of the exits to the starting town. The top of the map will look less empty when filled with a few NPCs. I also decided to tone down the opacity of the sunbeams, as per suggestions, as they were a bit overbearing.

@Panda:  The shadow leaf thing is much too big, but I like the rest.

@panda: I would expect the road to the city to be much more worn, since it looks like a big, busy place. But that's the only criticism that I have. It looks fabulous!

@Darkness it is death trip, as in trip to death. XD

Its the Hunters Hall, so its like the main place of the Hunters. They need tables and chairs so they can rest around. Its in a small village in a secluded island somewhere..

PS: it is under development

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
