@paradoxum The rules for this particular thread specifically ask that people do not quote images as each page is already very image heavy.  It makes the page slow to load and to scroll down. Would you please edit your post either to remove the image or to put it into a spoiler.

Thanks.

@Avery : Really ... I did not know, then we can not use it or rather we should find the real authors?

I made a map for a challenge on a German board :3

Most of the "tower on cliff"-screens I know are meant to be melancholic and so I aimed for a more happy and lively athmosphere :)

@DragonFly  You should check out the blacklist thread for more details, but basically it's not legal to use.  There are rips from commercial games and no way to find all the original artists.

Here's a town in Rift Chronicles. The base structure without events like doors and NPCs.

Nothing too fancy, or too lavish; saving such for

the Federation.

@Avery: That must have been hard to work on a "map" with different perspectives!

One thing I would have tried if I were you would have been to blur the background elements (ships, island) just like the water itself is blured, like a Depth of field effect.

In any case, you succeeded in creating a sunny atmosphere. No melancholy feelings here.

Talking about perspective, another look at it makes me wonder if the wooden bridge is supposed to be rising toward the lighthouse or not, since it looks like the bottom side is lower than the upper side of the bridge (counting the tiles of the cliff)

Due to the new forum software, pages now have less posts, so this has exceeded 100 pages. Time to celebrate the new forum software with a new thread!

If you posted a screenshot in the last few pages, you can post them again in the new thread!

Have spent too much time hammering out with a friend just how to make a reoccurring enemy that permanently learns skills you use against her.
I know what I want in a loose sense. Maybe I should just make a post asking for opinions and suggestions.
Shoot Enemy Off-Screen, Run RPG Maker Game as a Web Server, & Thai Keyboard | RPG Maker News #109

Some people have too strong of an opinion about what maker is the best, I've seen discussions like:
- I prefer VXAce because I like the style of the RTP better than the older releases
- You're worse than Hitler
My number one take away from this game jam is to make small games that are as polished and bug free as possible. Far less dev time, and if the game flops, it matters less because my time investment is much lower. Also, whatever ambitions I have... aim for about 10% of them. They are clearly too high, and will involve stuff that likely won't matter.
