    i'm not so sure if i should add them in front of equipment type names or if i should remove the equipment type names and keep the icons instead.

    Booster is the equipment name you're referring to right?  It seems intuitive the way you have it, but you may be able to simplify a bit.  What do you think of this: rather than it say "Empty", it says "Booster Slot" or "Weapon Slot" (or even just weapon/booster greyed out) and when something is equipped the equipment icon alerts the player of the item type?  Just some food for thought.

    Nice icons and windowskin! I agree with @Slimsy Platypus, but the way it is now doesn't bother me at all.

    Yes, a sort of glowing effect does come off of the torches. I was trying to time it so that the screencap showed the glowing effect + the hovering over an enemy effect + the little tutorial at the top. And yes I'm aware that the torch is under the shadow. I fixed that as soon as I noticed it in the screenshots. Edit: Or not. I tried to fix it, but for some reason my fix didn't work. As for the icon on the HUD, I'm still working on giving the skills icons.

    As always, feedback/constructive criticism is appreciated!

    Hey Thanks! No,  I wont be using any RTP.  Trying to make something that  would be difficult to tell that it was done with RPG Maker MV.  Most of the Standard assets have to be redrawn to fit the games style. Appreciate the comments though! Its very inspiring!

    Pretty much what i had in mind, i've locked the weapon slot anyway so nobody will be able to fight bare handed.
    I've noticed that i forgot to update the Health icon again, but all of them will have that wave thing in the final version.
    Not sure if the Booster equip type now fits compared to the gem icon i was using before.

    So, this is how my worldmap looks at the moment. It pans across both directions. There's actually four worlds in the game (Though technically one of them is another timeline variation of another world) and you get to explore all of them, later you'll be able to easily travel between them at your will. Many areas you'll not be able to get into until a lot later.

    Note the dark shadow patches are actually cloud shadows so they move and look a little weird in this static screenshot

    @KanaXI really like that mapping style for interiors! It's not as popular as the other style, but I think it looks great and for some reason, it feels very suitable for horror games (don't ask me why). Make sure you drink lots of water and beer if you want to stay hydrated! Fans and air conditioners are your best friends! 


    @beenbaba: That looks really good, mate. You've got a good level of detail and white space. This really inspires me to buy those tilesets and pump out a couple o' concept maps. Rock on, dude!


    Trying a new water auto-tile that's less square. I'll probably need to recolor the water a bit though.  :unsure:

    Started a new map here recently, I over estimated how much space I needed. I'll crop it later, but for now, this is how it's coming along.

    Hello people! Uploading a map I just finished working on. It's supposed to be the main building of a university set in a Modern/Fantasy universe. That's why it has a modern structure in a Forrest setting. Let me know what y'all think, comments, criticisms. Thanks.
