@Nirwanda It's takes some time, but why not use the round dirt-tiles from the A5 sheets? They could make the paths look more organic. Maybe push the tower of the temple 1 tile further down, giving the building a T-shaped ground plot. Overall there could be more high grass, especially around the corners of the map, indicating that the wilderness begins there. At the house at the middle bottom, the high grass could use some shift-mapping in order to make it look like it continues behind the roof. Here's a map of the game I'm working on at the moment (a more serious project that I want to pull through). Things I want to add later on are different doors, a truck and some billboards for the company that owns the premises. And of course proper shadows and lighting. Spoiler Any thoughts?
