@Thortuga Might wanna add some dead space to surround the desert a little. Right now it looks like your desert and vegetation are in direct contact.

Which one is better for an ice boss room, the first or the second?

I think you should mess around with it a bit more. The first one is more visually appealing because there's differences in hue and luminosity but the boss blends into the scene, not seeming as important. The second one looks colder and the boss stands out better but the sameness is really bland and the walls blend into the floor. I'm sure you could find a choice in color schemes that would be the best in both situations.

@PersuaderGames I really, really like the style of the map and the menu at the top. I don't like the sprite though. It looks maybe you were trying to have taller sprites and simply stretched it? It just looks, odd. If you want taller sprites, I'd look around at the templates for taller sprite bases on the forum, there are at least a couple that I am aware of (hiddenone, and Candacis both have them, though I'm not sure Candacis' is accessible at the moment).

@mlogan: I have been trying to find Cadacis' ressources on the bigger charsets, but somehow I couldnt find them. Any tip in which forum they are?

@Tsukitsune I don't know if your system allows it, but it'd look better if the ripples were a little slower.
I won't comment about physics when it's already about a floating island, but I wonder where all this water comes from :p

Back to remaking my project since I dropped it for awhile. Redrawing tileset and ect... Still no HUD, map effect (butterflies, birds, ect...). There are a lot of thing need to be done... xD

I think your introduction text is not readable enough. White letters displayed on a clear gry/white background or detailed pictures, it is not very readable.
So proposals:
1) change the font. Bigger? Bolder black borders around letters?
2) When displaying the portraits of the witches, put them on the right of the screen, so text does not come above them.

Appart from that: art is super nice, character selection screen & mode also!

When I learned about multithreading in C++, one of the first things was that while heap is shared, each thread has its own stack and it's impossible to access another thread's stack.
So I wrapped the variables into a static class and passed its address to another thread. And it worked.
