@ Bird Eater: I concur with EE, you should make a tutorial on how you did that.

@ EE: That's a wonderfully cozy looking map you have there. Lighting is also very well done. ^^

Updated the main menu a bit. Character names and classes should be a lot more visible. Also, I anti-aliased the portraits a bit. Siggy's head is still too big. ><

Another temple map. Only this one can only be explored in Chapter 3. ^^

Deckiller, those are some really nice maps. Great mapping. I'd just say add some lighting and you're set.

Here's something I've been meaning to work on. I could never get the tinting right so I made my own tint in PS.

How does it look?

rgangsta: Your map looks good. A bit spooky too. Though you might want to get lost of the autoshadow for all racks, at least for the shadows which are in a bright spot.

Wolfie, what do you mean by that?

@Physeter

Thanks. I'll see what I can do about removing the autoshadow. Thanks for the feedback.

@mlogan: Excuse me while I go rant about how the diamond shaped cloths are to be put on the table that's in the same tileset - they're not for the damn floor, it's a tablecloth. There's a reason why there's no pointy edges on the sides; because you wouldn't see them if it's placed on a table!

*cough*

I'd say you're using too many trees. Sparse them out a bit, don't go overboard with them.

Wow, do you have to be so incredibly rude about it? I'm sorry I mistook them for big pillows. Next time a simple fyi would be nice.

It was directed at you and everyone else who seems to make the same mistake. It's a misuse of the tiles, I corrected you on it. Moving on.

Here's a bathroom for my current project after I decided to re-do all the maps with parallax.

That's a nice map but I'm having a hard time believing the shadows.

It's like they're out of place. Add some darker areas to the room.

@Duncan: I don't want to bathe in that bathroom. There is no light near the bathtub and at night it'd be like OMG THERE IS A KILLER AROUND THE CORNER. I say lighten it up a bit more or put like wall lamps in the bath and toilet area AND the sink area to round out the light.

Hi everyone,

There are some extremely talented people in here, I'm both impressed and jealuos. :) So I need some help from the community with a map I'm making. This is the entry way into a mansion/manor so by defualt the room has to be large and expansive, but it also feels very empty. Unlike outdoor maps where you can put down a lot of ground clutter, indoors you can't do that without it looking messy. Any advice is welcome, thanks.

@gadgetkk I'd add a couple small, scattered tables to fill in space and give it a more lobby-like feel. Looks good though.

@Celianna You're like the kid who says the cone-shaped LEGOs can't be used as lampshades. I don't care that you're a mod, everything you say -- every piece of advice you give, is rude and laced with unnecessary poison.

It's a tile, it can be used in any way it looks good. I thought it looked fine.

@Yip: this is an actual mod warning. If you have personal issues, you can take it up to PM, do not clutter the thread with it.

@gadgetkk: I'd say it looks fine, there's no need to fill it up. I'm wondering why there's a shadow on the side of the upper left staircase though.

@celiana: that's not intentional, the way I had to put it together makes it so whenever I play with the floor it puts that there. I just forgot remove it before taking the SS.

Circle areas A&D are basically what I don't find too appealing, imo, you should stick a wall in there instead of floor tiles, I think you're probably trying to go with a top-down perspective, but it doesn't really work because the rest of your graphics aren't designed that way! Region B looks a tad weird because it is basically merging with the roof, I think it'd look better if you added a wall with a door, or just covered the entire corridor with floor tiles, atm it really looks as if it merges with the roof lol. Region C has also a rather odd perspective, again, I think it'd look better if you added a wall exactly the way the shade is positioned(slightly inside the stairs) and a door. It's true you don't need clutter, but you could add in some columns, play with the carpet, make it lead into rooms instead of just being a square! other than that I think the map is heading somewhere nice~

Never missing the opportunity to be an unabashed hypocrite, I present this, the darkest map I could possibly create:

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
