@gadgetkk, pretty much what Elements said, I completely agree, the map looks unfinished and just a bit weird really. Regarding furniture and such it looks fine the way it is, like Celianna said, no need to fill it up.

@Lone Wolf, that's amazing! My only irk with it is that it's slightly too dark but I'm guessing that's intentional haha ;) Is the water animated?

Very nice, though I'd shorten the stairs by one, since you're going up the equivalent of two tiles in height and it looks strange to have three tiles of stairs. (I know, I know. The stairs could be shallow and thus be longer, but it just looks off.) Also, maybe some kind of border around the curtains?

Otherwise, nice job.

That's way better dawg. you might want to make the walls in the staircase a bit taller so that your roof doesn't merge with the top of the stairway in the balcony, other than that, good job.

Edit: lol I like how Liberty and I said pretty much the same, with very similar wording, nearly at the same time.

Great improvement since the last image. Good job on remodeling. Now, does the wall extend to the second floor?

A pier Nessiah asked me to do for PP. I'm prety darn proud of it, myself. It was a quick and efficient map >D (tho having the tileset done from before certainly helped).

@gadgetkk,

I think you should but some form of border around the curtains as they clash with the wall and it looks dull. Where you have the suit of armor, maybe replace it with a plant, I've just always found plant decoration to be symmetrical.

@Indrah,

Maybe click-shift some of the places where the water touches the back end of pathways, just to show how it's flowing begind then slightly, to add height to the platforms :)

@Indrah: I think it looks fine, lay-out wise and clutter, but I recommend using the shadow tool on the bottom of the pier. Right now it has the same kind of brightness as the floor, which throws off the perspective. Walls should be darker than floors.

Cooooool! I'd love to see it *cough cough*

To get a sense of the color contrast (which YouTube destroyed)

And in motion:

This is going to be at the bottom of the page again, isn't it?

A quick world map that I made for my game. Although I have no idea where place the various things that I have planned for it

such as the desert, snow area , volcano and forest area.

I'm also trying to limit the number of towns to about three to six since according to my story the most of the world was flooded.

Looks really nice Lone Wolf. I'd says it's a tad on the dark side but I think that's what you're going for. The water effect and background are so realistic and nice... the sprites almost don't seem to match. I think maybe it's the saturation in them. I dunno how the rest of the world looks but here maybe tint the sprites to subtract a little saturation would be a good idea?

@ Lone Wolf: Bit dark for my liking (it's hard to make out the details sometimes ), but if it suits the mood of your game, then its fine. Just lighten it up a tiny bit, just so the player can see where they're going.

@Ardha: I think you may want to add more details to your world map before anyone can critique it. Close ups are good too.

All Chapter 2 stuff...

A tiny cavern found near Fonteini's Temple. What is that gate doing there, indeed...

The wonderful village of Varva, where you can trade in your Golden Doubloons to an enthusiastic coin collector who has collected many rare relics from

his travelling days.

Maybe something like this, orange = volcano/mountains, yellow = desert, green = forest, white = snow

Then again, I would never listen to me regarding world maps, ever :) Also, make sure you vary everything, don't just make it one huge clump of one specific area!

Oh and upon noticing that the world had flooded, I would most definitely make that tiny island mountainous or else it would be slightly unrealistic that it could survive the flooding alone like that :)

To be perfectly honest, I left it dark so I wouldn't have to texture the walls properly.

Added lights to the opposite wall, re-smoothed the lighting map, and adjusted the overlay contrast. The edges fading to dark blue is intentional. Moody but visible?

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
