Catacombs (yes, the player character's head is easily twice as big as any of those skulls. Ah, the hazards of chibification)

@Lustermx,

I like the map however the rocky surrounding seem a bit plain and unrealistic, how about adding a bit more depth to it and breaking it up a bit?

@Erilex,

I would have never noticed the chibi's head/skull thing if you didn't mention it haha, I think it looks pretty fine though, I don't think I can fault the map either, the lack of colour works well!

Out of Preproduction and into the fryer. That's how the saying goes, right?

Couple of things... That area with the sand and the wood all around it really stands out in a not so good way. You might want to think about making it the same as the path or a darker color because it's calling too much attention right now. There's a white spot behind the bridge on the right side that probably shouldn't be there. The middle where the guy is standing seems kinda blurred for whatever reason or perhaps its the screenshot? I dunno. The logs under the trees on the left side need a shadow cast on them as they look really strange without one. You're also missing a shadow where the porch is in the middle of the house. There's an overhang above but no shadow right underneath. The upper left side is empty... there's a hole where I can see the transparent pattern of photoshop. The log in the water at the most bottom on the left has either too much contrast or has been resized too much. It looks too grainy. I really like the placement of the trees and path but I'm not sure what's going on with the tall grass. It's kinda going around the house randomly. You might also want to stick to one tree color because the bright trees there are a bit too bright in comparison. Hope that helps ya out.

I agree with you on the log under the tree, and the sand. I think when I made the garden I didn't think of using the path tile for the garden, for whatever reason. But later on I even made a square thinking "Huh, this looks better" and just got sidetracked. Speaking of sidetracked, I added virtually no shadows whatsoever. It completely escaped me. I'll look into the log, it wasn't resized. I like the trees, personal preference, so they stay. And the grass going around the house was a failed experiment that might be scrapped, not sure. The bridge bit is just due to Photoshop, it's transparency, and that will have no negative effect.

Thanks for your comment.

Really loving that Oceans! Just one thing though on the water, there's a vertical line which stands out a bit and more so when it's coming from you :lol: Shame you can't get your swirls in there.

Oh here's a shot of what line I mean:

NaGaDeMo progress. Sadly no one was available to test.

I know that the buttons and music are a bit off, but that's due to how RGSS handles music playing.

Oh god a game that I would die a thousand deaths at. XD I suck so hard at Dance Dance button input type games. But it looks nice, TDS. Not sure about the music choice... as soon as I hear it all I can think of is a cop chase or something. The portraits at the top on the right most seems bigger than the others for some reason. Not sure if that's on purpose or what. I think what I like most about this is the timer thingy on the bottom. That's helpful in a game type like this.

He mad, but he cute :kaopride:

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
