Yeah, I always like to use a mixture of Lunarea, Celianna, and RTP. I also edit a whole bunch of each to match the game a bit more, as you can see with a few tiles in that screen.

I wouldn't mind sharing the tiles with you, that is if Luna and Cel don't mind...

Cel and I don't like redistribution of our stuff, so I'd rather if you didn't share tiles. But you can grab all the tiles from our thread and make them into tilesets unique to your project(s). :)

Alright, I wont share them. However, I would highly recommend grabbing Luna and Cel's tiles from their respective threads. They are some of the best tiles around.

That is some kind of sexy. Nice work! Where did you get the rounded tiles?

That's a cool looking map! The round walls really look good, however, the square shadows look weird with it. :o

Just make a round shadow tile, really easy.

Also why is there a picture of the guard right above him? That's somewhat redundant.

It is to show us that the guard is speaking instead of opening up the common chat window with a face picture. Seems perfectly fine to me.

But you can see the sprite. It seems really redundant if you can see the sprite who is doing the chatting. No need for the sprite in the message.

I think it would be fine if it wasn't over the character sprite's head, too. Like if it was on the bottom of the screen, or something.

But it doesn't really bother me, either. :D

I actually love the text-box. I thought it was unique and really creative. The sprite was possibly my favourite part about it. I wouldn't change it. However, I have a question. Does the text-box appear over the character who is speaking?

I think it's fine too, normal textboxes with faces, well guess what, you see the character sprites too there (most likely atleast), so it's pretty much the same thing, just in a not so common way.

@Ronove:

Not really. Imagine the sprite not in the chat box. If it wasn't there, one could think that it was one of the two characters escaping saying the guard was on duty again instead of the guard, and might be a signal from the character to the player. Maybe I just like it because it reminds me of Agreement, but I think it looks good the way it is.

Though it would be cool if the box could move around, like to the center bottom. :)

@Usagi:

I was playing In Search of Dragons and the same thing happens. From what I've seen, it only appears in the top left corner. Which, by the way, I would highly recommend playing. Its extremely fun and quite hilarious, at its moments.

@MagitekElite - Oh, really? I haven't seen it done before. Well, then I would use the sprites because it is something different.

That's the use of Yanfly's Gab Window script. As someone said earlier, it's used to show that the guard is speaking nearby. He's used in various different place in this for that small window to pop up whenever a guard is somewhere nearby. It is a fun and creative way to use the script. You have the option of using sprites based on actor IDs or specifying the graphic you want to use. So yeah, I don't think the fact the sprite is there makes anything redundant, really.

Oh, Gab Window... I love the Gab window. Such a fun script. But that isn't the topic here, so I will stay on topic.

Your map looks pretty good. However, I would go the extra mile and make a rounded shadow tile. The square is a bit overpowering in your map.

And, this is more of a personal thing, but ever time I see walls that have nothing but black on the other side, it always makes me wonder what is on the other side. I know that is completely unrelated, but I just thought I would say it. Anyone else here ever wonder that?

Me playing with the RTP and FenyxFyreX's Light FX script. :)

I just remarked how the addition of the bridge on the left makes no sense in the overall piece... >.<

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
