I glad I could make Happy Cat, happy. Thanks for the interest!

@Needles: Yes I suppose it is in a way, the ocarina system was influenced by LOZ OoT. Funny story, I had never played a Zelda game in my life (Although I had seen it being played) but when I started making Eden Gate and wanted an ocarina system, I did the best I could, but to perfect the mechanics I bought a 3ds and Ocarina of Time and played it to death, the game was great and I'm happy I finally got a chance to play it but it also gave me the chance to improve my own ocarina system. The sound effects of the notes may be from the game but the sequencing of many of the songs and several of the effects are very different from Zelda. If the Song of Amplifying Strength is the same as Zelda's lullaby, it was entirely a subconscious outcome, I intended to make the mechanics of the ocarina like Zelda but nothing else =]

...Um..."Indrah" fort...? And that name is because...?

Also the grey-blue floor and brown walls mismatch a bit. I'd recomment recoloring either element.
Whoa! xD

I didn't even realize, it must be coincidence! Hmmm, I'll take that into consideration~

Methinks someone has a not-so-secret admirer. ;)

RMMV
@Usagi, Although what everyone said about your map are somewhat right about the river bed and so on, I do think it look very pleasing to the eye. You are drawing alot of attention to walking area, which is a very good thing.

But, I do agree about the river bed. It should be A LOT more dirt, a lot less grass. Yeah, plants do grow on the bottom of river beds, but I promise that you will not find more foliage than dirt.

@gamers - Well, you asked if what happened to your topic was bad. I replied telling you 'no, it isn't' because simply by clicking on the smaller pictures will make them bigger in another tab/window.

The only thing that looks weird to me is that big tree compared to the others because they are completely different styles.

@gamers694:

I agree with Usagi. The different styles of the small trees and the big tree is the only thing that bothers me. For your first map, of the cliffs and waterfall, it seems a bit bare. Maybe add more loose boulders/rocks or some flowers, or smaller cliff faces?

@Luchino-chan:

I really love your worldmap! I don't really have anything I see that bothers me! For your other map, I love it as well. I just wanna explore that whole area! :lol:

@Usagi:

I like it, especially the left part of the map. I have no problem with the bridge; I've seen long bridges like that before, so...

As for the riverbed, I would agree with the others. More rocks, some riverbed flowers and whatnot? Otherwise, I like it a lot. :)

For me, I'm messing around in cave using a parallax script a friend drew up for me and I can't seem to get the crystals a good color "blue" or find a right color for the lights. I've changed it to dark blue, but it always seems to stay the same. I think my GIMP isn't saving the images' changes...! Well, I wanted to see what you guys think on what color I should use for the crystals and whatnot. :) *I know the cave is a bit dark—changes will be made. I'm just trying to figure out what lights to use and how dark it should be. :p *

@MagitekElite:

My advice would be to edit the crystals so they look like they glow and cast light, like so:

(example is on the left)

By making the crystals extra shiny and glowing, the blue aura around them makes a lot more sense. :)

Genius, Lunarea! You know...something always felt wrong about the crystals themselves, now I know! That will definitely improve the map and help make the light look, well, less weird! Here is another attempt I decided to do before I stopped RM related things for the night. I made it a bit dark—screen made it look brighter in GIMP—but I'll change that now that I know my screen is set up too high. ^_^ *Yes, I edited the actual crystal instead*

It isn't as good as yours though. :lol: I'll bring more attempts later. :)

Thanks for the great advice, Lunarea!

@magitekelite

Actually my game is a magical one..... There is a dungeon beneath the forest... where the player has to go and get the crystal petal.. That tree is in the middle of a big hexagram in the middle of the map..... and is the door to dungeon.... so it isn't an ordinary tree

I thought i'd add it so the players might think that why is this big tree doing here in the middle .. :huh: :lol: . ( i thought to place it as a clue to the dungeon's door... )

what do u guys think???

Look i'll post a screenshot of the forest map

forestmap.jpg

Now do u see the Only sand tile is below the tree..... its kind of a puzzle..... u have to find 4 stones and then put them on the 4 hexagrams on the corners of sand tile....

IS there any other big tree like this???

@gamers694: The hexagram looks weird, two points are much shorter than the others. I suggest drawing the diagonal lines at a ~60º angle instead of 45º, like in a real hexagram. Use a 2:1 ratio for the paths (two squares up for every square to the side) instead of 1:1.

OK i'll try that.... .but what about the tree???
I don't know if there are any like it but it:

1) Has a different than the other trees.

2) Is not centered in the hexagram. Look at the roots, they are way down. I'd rather have the tree cover the top part of the hexagram than looking off-center.

I say change the other trees to match it, and move it up about 7 squares.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
