Hm, you need to change those steps since there's a line between them. The bottom house is a bit bare. A window would be nice. Also, Shifting dirt so it looks like it actually goes all the way up to the steps/houses/verandahs would make things look nicer.

For the top screenshot, move the top of the roofs so that they are equal at the back, else they don't look connected. Also, make sure your shadows run all the way down the side since it looks odd that they cut off at the verandah edges.

Your rooms are still a bit bigger than they need to be, but your mapping has improved a lot. :D

I think the problem you're having Mister Big T, is that you're breaking one general mapping rule while vehemently preserving another. You're making your rooms too large (Which has been pointed out) but at the same time you're giving the player a lot of room to move (Which is a very good thing). The key here is lying in the middle.

The central bathroom on your second screenshot is a good size and aside from maybe a light or picture frame on the wall is good as it is. By contrast however, the kitchen to the right of it is too big for what you've put in there. If you took out that table in the middle, you could park a truck in that room and really no kitchen is that big. It's obvious you have a talent for mapping, I think your only real weakness is your perspective on space. Try to break your habit of making rooms large and see if you can design a house using smaller rooms. I can almost guarantee if you come up with one and post it, you'll impress us with what you make.

I hope this is it, the time I've spent on this makes me want to cry. Special thank you to Liberty for her kind help.

Missing cliff edge. Left side middle, just behind the house. The map looks much more lively now, bu I'd still add a bit more grass, trees and flowers to the outskirts :3

The only mapping error that really stands out to me is the cliff height in front of that big building in the upper right. See to the right of the stairs, there's a change in distance of the bottom of the cliff, but not a corresponding change at the top. And a little further to the right, just where the leaves of the tree are, there's a change in distance at the top, but not a corresponding change at the bottom.

MrBigT: You didn't replace the ground layer with the one I sent you. That's why the cliff tiles are still messed up. You need to delete the old ground layer you had and put the new one I sent you in its place. Otherwise, it's looking a lot better.

@MrBigT: I like the outdoor map, but I agree with the others; you're still having trouble with the cliff elevation. One that sticks out to me is the cliff in the top right beneath the house with the gold features. Also, the river running through the cliff at the top needs to have a shadow over it.

@Grim: I'm not sure what you want feedback on. I think it would be more helpful if it was in English, since this is an English-speaking forum (although I can guess what it says). What does the Quest Manager do? Is it in-game?

Okay, I just have a little indoor map; it's supposed to be the house of a woman who does lots of pottery. I just want to see what everyone thinks.

I did replace it. Your black layer (which is the grass color effect) seems to hav been made with the old one in mind and not the new one.

You could just delete the black layer. I don't even know why it was there, really. I just added it because you had it, BT. >.<;

almalgato: All you'd need is a diagonal block of black, set at 50% transparency. Get rid of the autoshadow with the shadow pen and viola~

Marmite :D You either love it or hate it!

Anyway, I think it's cool :3 It's always nice when people put in effort to make their own custom stuff :D

@MrBigT: I would consider making the character smaller or moving her to the side, because at the moment she would be blocking a lot of the action. Also, your staircase looks like it's leading nowhere (like people would go up and then fall off). You could put a wall there so it looks like you're going up to the next level.

@RyanA: We had a Marmite shortage earlier this year in New Zealand. People went nuts, haha.

Decided to start working on my second biome/area...

I'm sure I'll end up hating and changing things a whole lot over the next week. :LZSexcite:
Anyone who says anything "needs to tone down the swearing" has just instantly lost 90% of my respect, unless of course they're talking about like children's programming or a teacher or something.
I feel bad sometimes around others, I hate, and I mean HATE being touched, and I know they don't know I hate it so much
Testing out applying a stroke effect to things at player level to increase visibility. Thoughts?
