Have you ever gone to a game music live performance?
I watched this on Youtube. It's so amazing :kaojoy: I'd love to go to a show like this.

Yes! Then again, getting me to go to the symphony isn't very difficult. I've gone to Ballad of the Goddess and way, way back in the day saw Video Games Live. I was supposed to see Final Fantast: Distant Worlds but my manager forgot I requested the day off and scheduled me. No one would cover my shift even though I had covered them a million times. Still a little pissed about it! :kaocry:

I went to Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds in Paris a year ago. It was amazing.
I've been a fan of Nobuo Uematsu's music since I played Final Fantasy 8 when I was ten, and I listen to the soundtracks regularily even now, so you can imagine how excited I was.
I rarely go to see contemporary music live too, so it was extra special.

Sadly there aren't many live video game music performances in France. :kaocry:
It seems you have to be in the US or in japan... There were some Bravely Default live performances that I've watched on youtube and I was blown away. I'd have liked so much to be there.

I'd like to see a movie with an orchestra playing the soundtrack one day.

One of my dreams is to go on a performance like this!

Unfortunately, I live in a country where gaming culture is not mainstream and is not valorized. To make things worst, I live in a small countryside town where the best options here for live shows are a nasty thing called Sertanejo Universitário.

Find yourself a classical music concert. There is no difference whatsoever except that you already know and love those particular pieces from a game.

I have never been to a live symphony that features game music. I eventually want to see Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds, but don't have the time nor do they come to Indianapolis, Indiana. The first piece I ever heard by Nobuo Uematsu was the Prelude from Final Fantasy VI.

Never watch live performance formvideo games. I didn't expect that my fav video game performed live by it's own composer on video game award.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
