Hello everybody! It's me again...
Have you ever played Resident Evil before? You know that voice that pops up whenever you hit New game ?
I want to do something like that. I want to change the sound effect that plays once you hit "New Game".
I tried changing the SE at system, inside the maker. But then that SE will also play at "options" and "load game".
Is there any way to make that Sound Effect play specifically whenever player selects new game?

Theoretically, you will need to set it up as you did, and before the game starts, you should change that system sound fx through an event.
I bet this can be done using the event command Script and by usings a simple JS command but I don't know what method to call.
Thus if someone knows that please give us a suggestion on how to change System OK Sound.
I am also interested to learn about that.

I get what you're saying, but if i set it up like i did, then that SE would play for "load" and "settings" and then i would miss the whole point of having a special SE play at "new game" :p But yeah, it sure takes a simple JS command. Perhaps a plugin or adding a line to the game data files...

working on an A/V sync system for my game! was NOT expecting the first roadblock to be accessing a variable from a public class!! Computers are so finicky sometimes :kaosigh:
For the first real time since my game's inception I found myself actually having fun playing around with my party's skills while testing out some battles! So much so, that I actually forgot what I was doing for a minute and had to force myself to move on to the next thing! :guffaw:

That's got to be a good sign considering it only has place holder animations, enemy skills, troop comps, etc. right now. Feels good!

FINALLY, I figured out how to get the "tail" to appear IN the window and not directly below it lol. now it looks like it's part of the window and not hanging from the bottom of it.
