Namaste, ladies and gents-

I am working on a cut scene for my project that plays a prologue video when the player selects "New Game" from the title screen, before transferring to the starting map.

To accomplish this, I have created a class called Scene_CutSceneBase that is called by the SceneManager from Scene_Title:

Scene_CutSceneBase is created from Scene_Base.prototype, and has its own Game_CutSceneEvent object which takes commands from the item in $dataCutSceneEvents whose name matches the video being played (similar to Game_CommonEvent and $dataCommonEvents) and executes them upon loading the scene.

In the instance of the prologue video, the Game_Interpreter commands being executed are command261 (play video) and a custom command401 (go to scene).

Everything works until the video is finished playing, and then, instead of executing command401, it just loops infinitely:

So, I am here to ask if anybody might know what I am doing wrong and how I can go about correcting it so that the Game_Interpreter moves past command261 and executes command401? I hope that I have included all relevant information, but let me know if I need to elaborate more on any of the cogs.

P.S. please excuse the unfinished cutscene, it is just a placeholder until I can sit down and focus on finishing it.

I added a little squish effect when characters change direction to try and make things a bit more lively. Though it's a bit hard to see on the fast moving guys.
