I have an idea to add. I have no idea how complicated it might be to implement.
In the Quest Editor there is an option to show or hide progress and rewards.
What about an option to show any individual quest in the quests list in game before it has been started by the player?
With or without any of the detailed information that goes in the description window.
Maybe that they can show up as ??? or as the quest title. etc etc...
My reasoning for this is as follows;
Some players like to be completest and find and do everything.
With big company games, it is much easier to go onto gamefaqs or google etc and research which quests they might have missed.
In the case of our games, that information is not readily available.
Add to this that we might add new quests in updates to our games after release.
It would be a helpful design
'Choice' that say, if there are 10 quests, and the player has found and started 7 of them,
that we can provide the player with some information to let them know that there are 3 left to find.
Or even some general indicator of what part of the world they can be found in.
I suppose this can be done outside of the Quests book with NPCs and Variables to tell the player the information, but it would be a lot more preferable to have options for providing that information straight through the menu. Obviously it's not a 'critical' feature or anything, but i think it would be a nice addition for versatility. Just an idea.
