Zombies Ate My Neighbours for SNES. The music was really good and I like how they were kinda creative with the weapons.
Yeah!! The sequel, Ghoul Patrol, was also awesome.

I used to play a lot of DOS games, no idea how rare they were though. Sopwith was a fun little side-scrolling flight sim - if you could manage to take off. Included in QBasic were a couple of fun, silly games, Nibbles (which was just like Snake on old phones) and Gorillas, a 2 player game where you threw exploding bananas at each other. Because they were included with the programming language it was easy to 'hack in' and mess around with the code, with often hilarious results.

I am all about Survival Kids for the Game Boy Color. It was one of the first survival/gathering/crafting games and later gave rise to the 'Lost in Blue' series (which aren't very good). There's a good deal of replay value with all the endings and the effects.locations of some items getting switched around from playthrough to playthrough. It was difficult, especially for a Game Boy Color title, and some of that was unfair game design choices (like the Oval Gem).

Another favorite of mine as a kid were the Hamtaro games for the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. You went around as Hamtaro, solving puzzles to help your friends and collecting 'Ham-Chat' words to unlock new interactions. I think that I spent a good 50+ hours on the first game and never got all the words.

Okage: The Shadow King for the PS2 is one that I particularly enjoyed. It was intentionally tacky, and I knew it wouldn't be a big hit, but it was so clever and cute.

Another (not quite as) obscure one would be Treasure of the Rudras, or Rudora no Hihou for the SNES. It was never ported to Western markets, which is sad because I loved it, but there are a couple fan translations out there. I loved the magic system, though I knew it was lacking.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
