I own one, but just like my 360 it's gathering a lot of dust at the moment. Plus chances are no stores near me will carry a copy (or they'll have a used copy which I will not buy); and I also have a backlog of games I need to get to first.
Ahhha. Well, it's currently on sale on amazon for 20$ brand new, which is a steal considering the game is discontinued and still worth 50-60$.

I buy most of my games off amazon when the time is right, got FF13 and Nier (fuzzy enticed me on that one bwahah) for 10$, resonance of fate for 20$, uncharted 1,2,3 for 60$ the lot. And much-much more, all brand new. Saved heaps of cash compared to ebgames and other retails.

But yeah, just throwing it out there seeing you got many games to play still and you're taking it easy off the console..

I have Shining Force 3 on the Saturn but still refuse to play it, I don't want to ruin it by being unable to play Scenario 2 and 3.
Good news then, there are English patches available! Plus a fan-made "update" patch for the American version of the first one to link it to the other scenarios better.

I once had the goal of playing through the Shining series in its entirety, but this goal has kind of dissipated. I'd still like to, but I've never gotten around to tracking down copies of Shining Force CD, Shining The Holy Ark, or Shining Force III. They all look pretty interesting in their own way, but they're not priorities.

I never had a Saturn, one of the few consoles I didn't, and Saturn emulation is awful. There is a translation of scenario 2 and 3 and a fixed scenario 1 floating around on the net though I think.

At present it would be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Until I get a 3DS that is.

But then again, there were are so many other games that I always wanted to play. Some of them are-

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (I don't own a PS3 :( )

Heavy Rain (For reasons same as above)

The new Ninja Gaiden series for XBOX/PS3 (Again, for the reasons stated above and also because I don't own any XBOX either)

Manhunt (One game that I never got around to buy. Partly because I forget about it sometimes)

World of Warcraft (Yes, I wanted to play it. But ironically, I never go for MMOs where I have to keep paying forever to play. The only reason I wanted to play WoW was because I loved the Warcraft lore and story up-until then and wanted to jump into the next installment. I could have of-course gotten a trial version, but I never got around to download it and lost interest eventually)

I want to play Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep so bad. It's my favorite series. But I can't afford a psp. :(

Same goes for KH: Dream Drop Distance on the 3DS. Curse you Square and your multi-platforming. >:[
Ah, you've truly missed out on BBS. : (

It's the only KH story I've ever liked. Aqua is a great heroine.

You'll be glad you haven't played it. It's boring, stupid, and full of plot holes. Though the game is fun when you're playing with a friend (or friends) and you intentionally screw up.

I disagree with you there. The story is excellent and keeps you guessing throughout the whole game. Now I get why you say it's boring, there's no action. But that's because it's an interactive novel. What makes the game even better is that you play from 4 different points of view.

Now I'm not going to judge. If you don't like the game then that's fine, I'm not going to make you like it.

But CodenameD, if you like games of the mystery genre and don't mind the lack of action, I definitely urge you to play this as soon as you get a PS3.

The problem I had with the story was the large amount of (spoilers) plot holes the game has. It had me guessing, sure, but not for the right reasons.

Uh, no, that's not why. I loved Quantic Dream's previous game - Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy (depends which country you lived in for title name) and it plays exactly the same as Heavy Rain. It just didn't capture the same level of enjoyment as Indigo Prophecy.

Yeah, you're right about that. Speaking of Fahrenheit (European :p ), there's another game I'd love to replay but can't find anywhere. I still remember the opening mission in the diner. :)

For me, it is Phantasy Star, mostly because I never bothered to get a Sega machine, and Final Fantasy X, mostly because I never bothered to get a PS2. Since these are the only games I'd ever get these consoles for, chances are good I probably won't bother (I got the PS1 just for two games, one of which wasn't that great).

Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

Can't play any of them. Don't have the systems required, though I have played 358/2 (or whatever it is) Days.

Just had a quick look and found the 3 ROMS with Translation but I've never really looked in Saturn Emulation.

As you mentioned though I have heard it's pretty terrible due to the awkward architecture behind the Saturn.

Well there's an emulator for the PS2 and you can still find Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 fairly easily. As for birth by Sleep, I have the same problem.. :(

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...
