Yo! Just wondering if the quest progressions save when you save the game and dont reset to defaults like switches and variables? Awesome plugin, though! ^-^

@gameusguyus, We are using your system as a repository for journal entries and not really quests. The entries vary in height between 200 and 1500 (or more) pixels. Selecting a long entry displays the arrow to scroll down (and allows you to scroll of course). The problem comes when you switch between a long entry and a short entry, the user is still able to scroll down when they shouldn't be.


There is a fix however. In the Window_QuestInfo.prototype.updateArrows and Window_QuestInfo.prototype.cursorDown functions, the conditional is checking for the this.questBitmap.height when it should be checking this.lineY.


Let me know what you think.


Also, could you add something to the system like the following to add the quest log to the menu:

Are there plans to make this plugin compatible with Moghunter's menu system? Or is in compatible only with YanFly's menus?

Great Pluggin! I want to use it, but I'm struck with an error message as soon as I boot up the .EXE file.
People have been mentioning "nul to cat", I've got "nul to int", whatever that is.

I extracted it to the root folder as per your instructions (after downloading the .JS file to the plugin folder).

If I hit continue it opens the Editor, but anything I type brings up the same error message.
I tried to save it once and quit, then reload it again, but it's more of the same.

I'm puzzled as to how to remedy this.

This plugin is no longer supported, your best bet is to use my Quest journal plugin and the editor or check out Game_Stailers Quest System which I believe is a port of this plugin with a custom editor.

Such a shame, it looked so awesome :(

Firstly: Very good plugin!
I dont know if it is already known, but if you open the menu, and have only 1 quest, the info won't show up.
I figured out how to fix it:

In the plugin.js file, you have to change line 1009.
It should be: 'this.oldIndex = 0;
Change it to: 'this.oldIndex = -1;

Explanation:
The oldIndex and the new index starts at 0, so the questInfo window won't get updated. But if you change the value of oldIndex, so it will be different from the index the first time, it will automaticly update the questInfo when you open the menu.

(Sorry if my english is bad, I'm german)

Its a awesome plugin!
Just a little problem, I want to change the words "No quests", "All", "Completed", "Failed", "In-Progress", "Steps" and "Rewards" to my language (portuguese). I did it in the general settings of the plugin, but the words "In-Progress", "Steps" and "Rewards" don't change, someone can help-me?

@MoonJ It is not a good idea to put an email address in a public post, because bots scour the internet for them, and then send a lot of spam/malware. I suggest you remove it and replace it with a request to send anything to you via a pm on this site.
