Backstory
In 2038, the discovery of element zero, forever changed the future of humanity.
Technology rapidly advanced and it soon became the most
valuable commodity in the known Universe.

The megacorporations began sending out prospecting crews,
individuals with little or nothing to lose.
Due to the dangerous nature of the job, many never returned.

Synopsis
This is a short sci-fi horror game, with a cyberpunk twist, that takes inspiration from John Carpenter and movies from the 70s-80s.

You play as Decker, a prospector on the search for precious ore, when he encounters an asteroid with enough to change his life forever. He soon finds out that it's no ordinary asteroid and must fight for his life against the danger that waits inside.

Experience a brutal, turned based RPG, with a unique front view, battle system.

Featuring music from Matt Mason, Precinct 209 and Speed Machine

Wow that GIF really caught my attention! The game tries some things visually that I don't think I've ever seen before in an RM game, and the scanlines and slight blurring do a wonderful job at erasing most of the potential awkwardness from limited animation and whatnot. Even the damage numbers -- they're wonderful and stand out; i'm very impressed by the enemy attacks. Will be checking out for the art alone, hopefully the rest of the game is also cool! :D

@JosephSeraph Hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think afterwards. It's only around 25 mins long but I'm considering making it longer to be around 2-3 hours.

Here's a first impression video by @Driftwood Gaming

I played your game.
Thanks so much for playing, I really appreciate it. The game is a prototype but I want to make a full version once I finish my main project. The ending is a teaser for that by the way.

@Kemsyn The ending really gave me those cyberpunk vibes and the skills really made me feel I was in a powerful suite. One suggestion though is since most of the game is first person and feels like Doom it would be great if you could make the overworld first person as well. It can be evented a few ways but also there are 3D plugins. Using those would really do wonders for the full game.
